I have taken a lot of heat recently from the "Once Saved Always Saved" and the "Faith Alone" crowds so in this livestream I will share two verses that require one or the other must be sacrificed. Let's see how this goes :)

Thank you Keith for being so passionate about the Catholic church. The Catholic church is the spouse of our Lord Jesus, we love our church because Jesus loves it so much too. We know that the Catholic church has the TRUTH because when Jesus said, " I will be with you till the end of times ". He kept His promise with the Holy Eucharist, that is the reason we have a lot of Eucharistic miracles to show us that the TRUTH is with the Catholic church. God truly is with us until the end of time. Mother Mary painted herself in Our Lady of Guadalupe which meant it was fine with Our God to put pictures of our Lord Jesus in our homes and churches just like we do the pictures of our family in our homes.

@@jpgolda1900 Your points are somewhat valid. We don't really know what Jesus looked like. Thus any painting is just an artist portraying what they feel Jesus could have l00ked like, It is just art. I have a painting of Bob Marley on one wall, it is art, I like too look at it. I have a picture of what the artist felt Jesus looked like on another wall. It is art, I like to look at it. I am not worshipping either of these, just like to look at them.

The 2 Great Commandments trump everything: 1. Love the Lord your God with ALL of your being - Catholicism sets up the faithful with every opportunity to be in steady full communion with God through the sacraments, scripture, prayer , spiritual support of Mary and the saints . 2. Love your neighbour as yourself ... I prefer...Love one another as I have loved you. We have to be fully invested in our communion with God every moment of the day to accomplish this challenging task. It is easy to love God. It is nearly impossible to love your enemy, but if we can look at people through Jesus eyes and love people through Jesus's heart that is the only possible way. It takes more than faith it takes absolute surrender and submission and crushing our natural dark responses. We can't pretend, it has to be genuine. We are judged based on the intentions of our HEARTS. Being a Godly person requires as much God as you can get. Unless you eat His flesh and drink His blood you will not have Jesus living in you. Anyone can be faithful and read the Bible, but God calls us to be like Him. He died a horrible death at 33 with no possessions and only His Mother to comfort Him For the will and love of God and love and salvation of humanity. He begged God for strength for himself and mercy for us during the passion and crucifixion...I will try to follow Him, I will try do whatever He does. I will go to Mass receive Him in the Eucharist. Go to Confession and humiliate myself to a priest, spend time studying the saints , kneel before God at Adoration. And finally, sorry for the length, even Satan and his minions know Jesus is the Lord and Savior, and they watched the Bible unfold as main characters they hate the blessings and graces that come from Catholicism which is why he wants it destroyed because Jesus makes His presence in us stronger.

AMEN and thank you 🙏 Former Lutheran/Baptist who Used to believe all this and was in the I will never become Catholic camp until God pierced my heart, open my eyes and the floodgates… Was welcomed Home into the Catholic Church, this Easter Vigil. There are so many misunderstandings out there, and I personally think the once saved always saved. Doctrine is dangerous. People have never been to confession I don’t know what they’re missing! I can’t even express how much my faith has grown in the last year. I am much more mindful of all my actions now not only because I don’t want to let God down really who wants to confess all that stuff? It definitely makes me think twice about things. I wouldn’t even of worried about before, and just figured that God would forgive me. And yes, I have asked for forgiveness for that.❤ BTW… I know I reached out once before, but your stories and videos really had a huge impact on my journey, especially that my Parish allowed me to do a slightly faster version of RCIA. Excellent Keith. If these solo scripture types actually believed solo scripture, they would be running to the sacrement of Reconciliation. The verse you quoted today proves Catholic Dogma that sanctification is a life long process, as Paul said, work out your salvation in fear and trepidation. Forgiveness comes from repentance, and confession of those sins, and forgiving those who have sinned against you. These are difficult things to do. And proves you have to willing cooperate with The Fathers Grace to receive it. Part of the forgiving those who sinned against you is giving over to Our Father God in Heaven any thought of retribution to what has been done to you, because vengence belongs to Our Father God in Heaven, it is His personal pocession. Yes He does express it in natural disasters, and wars, and especially through judicial systems. But we are forbidden to take such actions on our own hands.

I’m sitting here at home today recovering after some guy fractured 3 of my ribs playing soccer. He did a flying knee into my ribcage when I went in for a challenge. I’m so bitter about this as the pain is horrible and it’s hard even to do a simple thing like get out of bed. I feel injustice as this player was not punished and I feel he may have done this maliciously. I feel anger towards him and towards the referee who didn’t punish him. I know Jesus however says love your enemies and pray for them. Please anyone pray for me that I can sincerely pray for this guy who injured me and truly desire the best for him and truly forgive him if he asks. This is very hard as a part of me wants to seek revenge but I know this is the wrong path to take. Please God help me find peace and love for all your children.

Delight in it and consider yourself blessed to genuinely love everyone because you do really love all men and have an eternal inheritance through Christ on a cross! Philippians 2:5-8 NIV In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: [6] Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; [7] rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. [8] And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death---even death on a cross! Titus 3:1-7 NIV Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, [2] to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone. [3] At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. [4] But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, [5] he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, [6] whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, [7] so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. Ephesians 2:1-5 NIV As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, [2] in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. [3] All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. [4] But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, [5] made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions---it is by grace you have been saved.

I agree that is a great injustice and certainly a difficult test. But you know what is right and you have an opportunity to move that mountain 1 Peter 5:8-11 NIV Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. [9] Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. [10] And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. [11] To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.

look, I grew up in a Southern Baptist church and had some amazing pastors that I truly believe loved God and taught his word. Growing up, not by their teachings, but from the things I thought I knew about Catholicism, I thought Catholicism was just wrong. recently I saw your podcast with Pints with something, please forgive me I don't remember the name of the channel and I've watched many of his videos since too, I'm just horrible with remembering names lol. Anyways, I've watched so many of your videos since then and come to the realization that I was totally wrong. Man God has been working in me so hard for a while, I whole heartedly believe God is pushing me to do a podcast or just a long form conversation type thing and I'm so excited about it, just talking about things such as this content here in your video. I, by no means, have all the answers nor will I claim to have any answers, but If God speaks through me and brings one person to God then I'll be happy. I'd love to just sit down and have a conversation with a Catholic just to talk through some of these things and come to a better understanding. I'd love to have a conversation with you or someone like you on the podcast. I'd also like to ask anyone willing, to pray that God leads me in the right direction and speaks through my podcast when it starts, which should be soon.

If you research whether Paul is a false apostle, this may amaze what you think. Conventional Christianity teaches you there is no contradiction between Paul and James, between Paul and Jude, between Paul and Peter, and between Paul and John. But in the book of Acts, we know that Paul met Peter and James after 3 years he converted. Paul recorded his encounter with Peter and James (James the Just, who is also Jesus's half-brother, and he is the first bishop of the church of Jerusalem) in the first 2 chapters of Galatians. In Galatians, Paul looked down on "the apostles" who are Peter and James. When Paul said those preaching the other "gospel", and said some "famous apostles" didn't accept him in his epistles, could they be Peter and James? In the book of Acts, seems like James and the Twelves accepted Paul, but Luke never concluded that the Twelves accepted Paul. So, throughout Paul's whole ministry, it was rare for Paul to connect with the other apostles. In the book of Acts, the Holy Spirit gave Peter a trance and asked Peter to go to Cornelius's home, and the Holy Spirit approved Peter was an apostle of the Gentiles. However, Paul said he was the apostle of Gentiles and Peter was the apostle of the circumcised. Also, if you parallel the teachings of Jesus and Paul, you may find it's a completely different gospel. However, we are taught that Jesus mainly taught about the Kingdom of God, and Paul talked about faith alone salvation. We are also taught that one of the Jerusalem conferences in the book of Acts declared that there was an end to the gospel of the Jews (kingdom of God) and after that only the gospel of the Gentiles (faith alone). Perhaps the book of James, Jude, and even Peter accused of the teachings of Paul in the book of Romans. Later, when John had a vision of Jesus and wrote the book of Revelation, could the Balaam error and false apostle of Ephesians church were talking about Paul? Nevertheless, the Catholic church is only the incarnation of paganism that they mixed the pagan culture into Christianity. If you research what exactly in the first-century churches. You may find that the fourth-century Roman church is only a kind of heresy. For example, they changed the Sabbath day into Sunday, and they used their sun god's birthday as the birthday of Jesus. And they taught Christians to hate and kill Jews. You can only get the true gospel from a Jewish or messianic Jew's perspective, but not the European catholic religion.

It saved No one ! Paul also gave Many WARNINGS to BELIEVERS. Paul did not contradict Any teachings in God's Holy Word (writings of the other epistles). Thanks Keith. I have come to realize that the solas (faith alone, Christ alone, scriptures alone, ...) and arguments against the teaching authority of the Church are in deed, maybe not intended, the bud of current atheism, anti- religious and LGBTQ movements. These Christian position exults the self over the institution and puts the self in control of the definition of things based on personal feelings and prejudice. For instance, the definition of the word gender today is held to be a complicated one as it depends on what the individual says they are and not what was commonly known (male and female). Thus, to hold on to this position is to further the cause of atheism and anti-christ movements...

Titus3:5 He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Philippians 3:9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith. Romans1:17 For the gospel reveals the righteousness of God that comes by faith from start to finish, just as it is written: “ The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 4:5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, Romans 4:6 And David speaks likewise of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him… Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. John3:15-17 that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.… John6:47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. colossians1:20 and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through the blood of His cross. psalm103:10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins or repaid us according to our iniquities. psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. 2 corrin 5:19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

I could off load a dump truck of added beliefs that are 500-1800 years AFTER the church fathers and apostles that RCC etc has added. You might look into your own well house first if you want to take that road for argumentation. The reason Luther went to Sola Scriptura (which actually means scripture is the ONLY infallible authority) Is because the RCC at that time could not be trusted. They were murdering greedy thugs and everyone knows it. So since they could not be trusted, Go to who and what CAN be trusted. hence Sola Scriptura. You should look at the eye witness accounts of the burning at he stake of Jan Huss. The scripture used to defend their actions? When paul sadd " therefore we must put to death the flesh" Yea, that was the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH's almighty excuse for murder (they did it all the time) Now...............even YOU don't believe that scripture was used in context today. Because it wasn't. Why don't you believe that? Well, because scripture is widely available now! Why? proto protestant and protestant believers IS the reason you have scripture in your hands today. The reason scripture is almost in every language on earth? The Wycliffe society! started and maintained by protestant believers. The NT will be in every language by 2025 bibles by 2030. What you described was more of a caricature Luther is more about the universal body of believers. Not an organization. He said the church is in the RCC, is in the OCC and throughout Prot believers. It is the universal confession of Christ's deity and his work for the salvation of mankind to be reconciled with God. It is not held just to a visible institution, it is held on the confession that Peter made, the same confession we all have made.

I was an Adventist and did not even understand salvation. Got "saved" when I was 19 then decided I wanted to be Catholic at 23, fell away again, got married, and divorced. now I am going through an annulment process. Wished I had been raised Catholic and done things the right way. I am surrounded by people who are anti-Catholic and think I need to come back to the correct faith. I think I have found the right faith in the Catholic Church. It's the only one that makes sense to me, especially when it comes to understanding the Bible. I can't wait until I can receive Communion. Anyone here who thinks being Catholic is wrong, please study the Bible and the C.C.C. at least for a couple of weeks before you right off the whole Church. You will know them by their fruits. A good tree does not just exist and give no fruit. Also if we say the Catholic church is false we are calling Jesus Christ a liar. He said the Church would stand and the gates of hell would not overcome it. The Catholic church was the only church there was after Jesus went back to Heaven until Luther protested against it. The works spoken about in the Bible that were being said as being wrong is the works of the Jewish Law, not works we would do for Jesus Christ and His Church. Hi Keith. I am a Protestant and grew up Catholic. Currently, I fall on the eternal security side of this issue, but have recently felt led to do a deep dive on the subject. As far as your argument in this video I have a question. This occurs during the Sermon on the Mount in the heart of Jesus’ ministry. We read all over the gospels that during this time he was being watched not only by interested “potential” believers but also by Pharisees, Scribes and others who were not fond of His point of view. SO, I think the assumption that He was ONLY talking to believers at this point is questionable at best and actually quite likely that he was talking to 3 or 4 types of Jews. Believers, potential believers, potential opponents, and likely opponents like scribes and Pharisees. SO in this case when he is laying out the particulars of forgiveness to be forgiven it’s likely that that part would be “addressed” to the folks who had not accepted Him. Also, the Holy Spirit had not come into play yet because He had not breathed on the Apostles (John 20-22) and so we know that it’s the Holy Spirit that seals us and leads those who have accepted Christ into conviction, forgiveness and the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). What do you think? Totally disagree? I do appreciate your point of view and am truly trying to find Gods truth in this whether I am right or wrong. Thanks

Jesus actually did show up in my living room and made very clear to me Verse 35, that it is the way it is. Of course I was reading in KJV. It is important to Note that in vs 35 it says "every One". Referring to we have to forgive Every One of our brothers trespasses. Other Translations remove that word. But watch the Numbers. Peter says 7 times, Jesus says 70 times 7, Then there is the 10,000 Talents, The 100 pence, And Then the Every 1 (One) of your brothers Trespasses. The One should not have been removed from other translations.

There absolutely IS an office of priest in the NT, but to address your appeal to the NT, there’s nothing in the Bible that tells us something has to be in it for it to be valid. Sola Scriptura is self refuting and anti biblical. It’s yet another man-made, prot invention. 1 John 1:9 does nothing to disprove the Sacrament of Confession. it’s exactly what we do in it. Christ gave us the gift of the Sacrament of Confession. In John 20:21-23, Jesus said to the Apostles (the first priests) “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even *so I send you*.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. *If you forgive the sins of any* they are forgiven; *if you retain the sins of any* they are retained.” The NT is very clear that Christ sent the apostles and their successors to carry on that same mission: To proclaim the gospel with the authority of Christ (cf. Matthew 28:18-20), to govern the Church in His stead (cf. Luke 22:29-30), and to sanctify her through the sacraments, especially the Eucharist (cf. John 6:54, I Cor. 11:24-29) and…..for Confession. We humble ourselves in the Sacrament of Confession and tell Christ’s minister our sins and he absolves us if we’re contrite through The Church. It is God that forgives us. Funny thing that you appealed to the NT because even you as a prot accept the *authority* of the Holy Catholic Church when you accept the NT canon since it was the Catholic Church that decided which books belong in it (and then compiled the Bible as a whole and gave it to the world). Not sure why you have "or" in the title instead of "and" if you know Faith alone and OSAS are not the same thing... I believe we are saved by faith alone, not by works, and i also believe salvation can be lost. In my estimation there are less than 5% of christians who will say both of those things together. Just as with abraham, the father of faith, we need to continue to have faith until the end in order to accomplish Gods will. Saying that faith is not enough because we also need to have works, is like saying its not enough to throw a dart you also need to hit the target with it. Faith is HOW we do good works. And just as nobody who throws a dart with precision will miss, no one who consistently trusts in the Lord will have an evil walk. If we walk in him, we walk as him. From a Protestant brother: Verses that destroy purgatory: First, it’s true that if a person is in God’s grace, he has been saved. Ephesians 2:8 says, “For by grace you have been saved…” However, nowhere in Scripture do we read anything about purgatory, or eventually getting to heaven. Indeed, in Hebrews 9:27, we read, “And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment.” When a person dies, God judges them. This verse alone could leave open the possibility of there being a purgatory. Unbelievers are judged and thrown into hell, as the Bible clearly teaches. But what about believers? Can they be judged in a way that God punishes their “temporal sins”, even if they have been forgiven? Scripture answers this question, too. In John 5:24, Jesus says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.” If we combine Hebrews 9 and John 5, we see that when a person dies, he immediately comes into judgment; believers, however, do not come into judgment, but have eternal life. To be punished in purgatory necessarily involves judgment, yet our Lord says we do not come into judgment. Therefore, purgatory is completely and utterly false, and contradicts the word of God. Furthermore, Romans 8:1 says, “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Many Catholics argue that people in purgatory are not “condemned”; they will go to heaven, but they have to be punished for temporal sins. If this is true, then the doctrine of purgatory leads to the ultimate question: did Jesus’ death on the cross completely pay for our sins, or was it only a partial payment? Scripture answers this question very clearly. Purgatory makes a mockery of what Christ did for the children of God. First, we read in Romans 5: “1Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.” To be “justified” means to be declared righteous. We are not righteous on our own; Christ’s righteousness is credited to us by faith (Romans 4). This is why Paul says,… “not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith.” (Philippians 3:9) This is why we have “peace with God”. Punishment is not peace. Does it make sense that God would still punish us when we die if He tells us in His word that we have been declared righteous and now have peace with God? The lie that is purgatory would have you believe that He would. Moreover, speaking of the New Covenant that would be fulfilled in Christ, the Lord says through Jeremiah, “They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”” (Jeremiah 31:34) Does it make sense that God would require satisfaction for the punishment of our sin if, by faith in Christ, He tells us that He will remember our sin no more? Once again, purgatory contradicts Scripture. Purgatory does not “purify” the believer; only Christ can and has done that. 1 Peter 1 says, “22 Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, 23 for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.” Because we have been born again, we believed the gospel (obedience to the truth), and by faith our souls have been purified. If we are already purified, we are not in need of purgatory to purify us. Perhaps the biggest problem with the doctrine of purgatory is that it denies what Christ accomplished on the cross, as well as his sinless life. Hebrews 10 makes clear that Christ’s sacrifice on the cross was sufficient for all time: “10 By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins; 12 but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 waiting from that time onward until His enemies be made a footstool for His feet. 14 For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. 15 And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying, 16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws upon their heart, And on their mind I will write them,” He then says, 17 “And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” 18 Now where there is forgiveness of these things, there is no longer any offering for sin.” It is true that God demands satisfaction for sin; it must be punished. On the cross, Jesus offered Himself, one sacrifice for sin for all time. Now, if Jesus’ sacrifice paid for all of our sin for all time, then there can be no punishment due the believer in Christ. That Christ rose from the dead is proof that God was satisfied with Christ’s sacrifice. Furthermore, Jesus has perfected us by His one sacrifice. If we are perfect, then there remains no sin to be punished. His death on the cross bore the full wrath of God that was due to every believer (Romans 5:9). This is why, as we read earlier, God says He will remember our sins and lawless deeds no more. If you are a Christian, you must believe what Scripture says and deny purgatory. Alternatively, if you believe in purgatory, you are denying Scripture. To believe that we will suffer punishment for some unknown period in purgatory is not good news. Thankfully, the good news of the gospel is that when we die we will immediately be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8). We have already been declared righteous, pure, perfect, not to be judged, so there is no fear of death for the believer..

No those verses do not destroy purgatory. Jesus speaks of it in Lukes Gospel. "And the Lord replied, “Who, then, is the faithful and prudent steward whom the master will put in charge of his servants to distribute [the] food allowance at the proper time? 43 Blessed is that servant whom his master on arrival finds doing so. 44 Truly, I say to you, he will put him in charge of all his property. 45 But if that servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed in coming,’ and begins to beat the menservants and the maidservants, to eat and drink and get drunk, 46 then that servant’s master will come on an unexpected day and at an unknown hour and will punish him severely and assign him a place with the unfaithful. 47 That servant who knew his master’s will but did not make preparations nor act in accord with his will shall be beaten severely; 48 and the servant who was ignorant of his master’s will but acted in a way deserving of a severe beating shall be beaten only lightly. Much will be required of the person entrusted with much, and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more." Notice that there are four outcomes depending on the way the servant lives according to the masters will. You can either be counted among the faithful (Heaven), be assigned a place with the unfaithful (Hell), or you will recieve a temporal punishment a.k.a beating (purgatory).

You do not understand Purgatory. It is not a punishment, but a cleansing of the stain of sin. Of course our sins have been forgiven, and we need to repent for these sins and do penance. A Catholic who believes the gospel for salvation is saved but if he believes the gospel as Rome teaches it he remains lost for they remove the promise " has everlasting life and shall not perish nor come into condemnation" by adding a condition to the promise of observe the commandments. If a person says they believe the gospel but depart from faith and we who say "can't loose salvation" say he was never saved is not true, we should not say that , we should say the bible says it. "If they went out from us they were never of us..." Your scripture example of idols does not support actual Catholic practices. You carry idols of Mary about on your heads, build idols as tall as buildings and give Mary names that are reserved for divinity. You can sing to a wafer, bow down to bread as God , offer the wafer as a bloodless sacrifice as being Christ - which is Idolatry. So central to Romanism but no new testament examples of Apostles carrying idols of Mary on their heads or wafers in a metal box , singing to , gazing upon and bowing down to the wafer being Jesus in disguise. "If they say Lo their is Christ in the ( monstrance ) believe them not." Friend you can't as a Catholic believe Rom 4:5 and thus deny imputed righteousness and therefore must find a way to get the holiness necessary to enter into heaven which has been successfully achieved by inventing a purgatory whereby you can "achieve it" for entrance into heaven. If I sum it up you have been robbed of the gospel promise while believing in the facts of the gospel and have inserted works to achieve what's freely given. If at the youth camp you believed in the death burial and resurrection of Christ for your sin , in that moment Christ granted you eternal life, you will not perish nor come into judgement. Now you have just been deceived by Catholicism or you went out from us because you were not of us. Be blessed.

Well it’s easy to aim at an uninformed audience with little knowledge of scripture. How about you challenge real theologians like Dr. Andy Woods or Dr. Bob Wilkin? I say the same to Doctors who criticize other doctors by talking to lay people. Ephesians 2:8-9 is very clear that we are saved by faith, meaning in Greek to be trusting Jesus’ death on our behalf for salvation. It even says it’s not of ourselves! It even says it’s a gift! So if a gift which is eternal life can be lost, then it never was eternal life and it never was a gift! Then John 6:47 says: ‘ I tell you the truth. Anyone who believes in me HAS eternal life’. Notice the present tense? Has what is forever!

Matthew 6 is not a way of salvation chapter and it does not say this is how you go to Heaven. I think we can agree that Jesus Christ is the sacrifice for sins (John 3;15+16). Jesus is speaking to Pharisees and Jews he is explaining how good deeds are only righteous when done out of sincere devotion to God, rather than for other peoples approval. By saying you are judging others and not forgiving others that were also under law, they will get what they deserved basically that is up a creek with no paddle. We today live under the new covenant, no one could keep the 600 plus laws in the Old Testament anyway. I doubt you or anyone you know is sacrificing bulls or goat’s once a year for sins to be washed away, and going around forgiving every so you can keep a clean slate, because what if you forgot someone? And besides believers are complete in him (Colossians 2:10,) all trespasses are forgiven and blotted out, as Colossians says in chapter 2:13-14. People today are not under Old Testament laws and rules. The New Testament does not teach “get saved by going around forgiving people”, nor is Matthew 6 describing how to be or retain eternal life. I have never read anything that says the God only forgives the really nice people either. About once saved always saved, if it wasn’t true example John chapter 6:47, then why is it written in present tense, with his possession of life that never ends? John 3;36 is identical grammar. Did the writers mess up? Was John and Jesus confused? And if I could lose something that is forever then why use the word eternal in these verses ? Why not use the word temporary ? I mean if you have eternal life today but somehow not have it next month, was it really eternal at the time of possession in those verses (John 3:36, john 3:15,16, john 6:47? The grammatical language says it is, you say it’s not . Jesus says it s forever and you say it’s not. Paul says this life is eternal and a gift , and we are made free in Romans 6:22-23, you say it’s not. Paul says God never revokes gifts , you say he does. Paul says believers are sealed forever in to inheritance, (Ephesians 1:13-14), the promise of being a purchased possession, you say it’s not true. I think I will reject your teachings and stick with Jesus, John’s and Paul’s teachings……

This is so sloppy and tortured in logic and Biblical knowledge I couldn't get past the first ten minutes. Mark 6 doesn't come close to talking about losing salvation. JESUS HAD NOT EVEN DIED AND BEEN RESSURECTED YET so the gospel was not even complete yet. NO one had received the spirit. In addition the passage IDENTIFIES the audience as - his disciples - mathētēs - pupils. How do we know that not all disciples were committed to Christ ? Simple! because John 6 TELLS US that as soon as many of his pupils came to realize the level of commitment Christ required - they stopped being pupils - Joh 6:66 "From that time many of his disciples [same mathētēs as in mark] went back, and walked no more with him". This is distinguished from the twelve that Jesus then turned to to ask if they would also leave. The parable of the sower indicates quite clearly there are people who follow Christ at various levels of hart involvement (in john 6 some just because they wanted bread after the feeding of the thousands). Eternal security does NOT claim that every one that was once been a student of christ is saved but rather it states that those who truly committed themselves to christ have the assurance that he will keep them in that committed - 2Tim1:12. I'll try to muster the patience to listen to you on the faith alone part but this really is poor poor reasoning and commitment to getting the facts right so I hold out very little hope it won't b heresy.

You will then be sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise, Ephesians 1 13-14kjv. Hi Keith. How is it tht I am led astray just bc I m not Catholic n detest the Catholic teachings. Let's probe deeper on who has been deceived n led astray. The apostles were not Catholic. They were Christians. They only preached what jesus taught bc jesus said GO N PREACH WHAT I HAVE COMMANDED. N never did jesus n the apostles teach we must join a church called Catholic. Peter was not infallible n not a pope n he did not start the rcc of today. He died before tht. Nothing to indicate tht the rest took orders from Peter. In OT, God said to Moses BE CAREFUL n do not add or take away from these commandments. So all additions to the bible are not of God bc God says so. Rcc has full of additions. The pagan rosary, scapulars, miraculous medals, novenas, statues, divine mercy, apparitions of Mary, purgatory, imm Conception n assumption of Mary etc. So if God says no additions, who has authorised these additions? N is the pope higher than god? It's the infallibility teaching from the pit of hell. From this teaching the pope can even say tht Lucifer is the Catholic God n millions will say yes. It's already happening at Easter vigils in the vatican. Catholic Priest Malachi Martin confirms this. N the Catholic catechism has made Mary Co-Redemptrix n Co mediatrix. This is blasphemy. N jesus said pray to the Father in my name. The rcc says pray to Mary to find jesus. N for more than 1000 yrs, no Catholic has found jesus, incl pope JP2. N comparing the lives of the Catholic clergy n the apostles, it's glaringly far apart. The apostles were not pedophiles, sodomites n cocaine users as exposed by Taylor Marshall. Others hv included, porn n drunkeness. Keith there's much more I can mention. There are books to say tht girls n women were not safe walking in the streets. The orgies in the vatican, freemasonry in the vatican even with membership numbers. Come on Keith. All these are facts n not lies. Must I become Catholic in spite of all this rot. Question is, can this church be of God. Certainly not. So no man is authorised to add or change God's word, the bible. But the rcc adds via the catechism n even changes ie, making Mary coredemptrix n Co mediatrix. So why do I need to learn about Catholicism, does not make sense. The additions n changes are in the Catholic catechism n I would be doing a profane thing by being part in these profanities. This is what deception about. Knowing tht it's blasphemy n profane n yet partaking of it. N when I say to u seek the Holy Spirit, he is God, n tht 1jn is not lies, it's from the bible, u still think tht I am led astray. Yes I may be rude n harsh but these are not sins. I can be polite n loving but a pedophile. But u will still prefer the latter.

There are different definitions of some of the terms you are speaking of. Once saved always saved can either mean 1. No matter what you do or say you cannot lose salvation 2. No one else can TAKE your salvation from you. I and almost all Prots I know land in camp 2. Belief and faith in Jesus alone IS true. BUT.........(and this is where it confuses some people) If you do not abide in Christ and let him produce change in you, you will walk away, or you will walk in sin and practice sin. Those are signs of dead faith as James says. Now, if you examine yourself and find that you are lacking in that self examination what do you do? What you do NOT do is say "I need to do more to make sure I stay saved" THAT is salvation by works. What you need to do is go to Jesus!! abide in Jesus, read scripture, pray to Jesus, worship God! and by abiding he will change you. Abiding in Jesus also produces repentance. For me it's is how it has gone. Its supernatural! I have been tempted to steal a few times like time clock steal and I literally cannot do it! Its amazing! Lol I laugh and thank the spirit every time I get that strong feeling that just will not let me go further. It's absolutely amazing! I read scripture every day no matter what. Even if its just a little bit. I pray every day personally, no rote repeated same things. (no offence, but this is what I do) Its personal! Lords prayer as a model prayer, going through all of it and expanding on each subject. Adoring the Father, praying for Jesus return and the Kingdom he brings, praying that he brings that kingdom through me in my thoughts and actions, praying for provision and most importantly spiritual provision of Jesus and his change in me to sustain me and give me faith that endures, forgiveness of my sins and the sins of others, temptations and struggles, and finally deliverance from evil and all of its influence. Sorry so long. I can agree with you on much of this. I think it is dangerous to assume you are saved because you said a prayer once when you were at a camp etc. whatever, and then never think about Jesus again, or never abide or pray or change your life at all. That is crazy! That is like a wife getting married and then saying she isn;t going to live with her husband. I believe that is very unbiblical. I abide personally because I CAN NOT STAND sin. I noticed once that when I do all things above I can almost not sin ever. Its so powerful! He has changed me so much I can't even explain it in full, there are no words.

In Matthew 6:14-15 Jesus is clearly talking to saved believers.....before we are saved we are children of the devil; after were saved we are children of God. We are saved by the blood of Christ....thats how we have positional forgiveness and are reconciled to God; and this forgiveness is unconditional love poured out to us from God the Father; nothing we did or can do to mess it up; its a free gift from God. But then there is relational forgiveness that is conditional....its no different than if I did something to make my earthly father angry; I need to go him to restore the intimate relationship that we have....but I'm still his son....I don't go back to being a child of the devil again....

Matthew 6:14-15 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 10:5-8 5These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, *Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:* *6But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.* 7And as ye go, preach, saying, *The kingdom of heaven is at hand.* *8Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils:* freely ye have received, freely give. Mark 16:15-18 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and *preach the gospel to every creature.* *16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.* *17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;* *18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.* Jesus' earthly ministry was to the Jew only. (Matt. 10:5-6). The Apostles were to preach the gospel of the Kingdom. (v. 7) They were to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, RAISE THE DEAD and cast out devils. (Do you do these things?) After the resurrection the same gospel is to every creature. IF they believe the signs in verses 17 and 18 WILL FOLLOW THEM. Do these signs (given to the Apostles) follow you? Then you must not believe! If you do not believe see verse 16. Peter preached to Cornelius the gospel of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ for his sins. Acts 10:38-44 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. 39And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; *whom they slew and hanged on a tree:* *40Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;* 41Not to all the people, but *unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.* 42And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. 43To him give all the prophets witness, *that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.* 44While Peter yet spake these words, the *Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.* And he said unto them, *Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.* Notice that God gave Peter the vision of the animals THREE TIMES, (v. 16) because of Peter's unbelief. Peter did not preach the gospel of the Kingdom to gentiles, but the grace of God. The Apostles went to JEWS (preach the gospel to every nation) only until Acts 10. Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach *all nations,* baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: A "creature" can be an animal (Leviticus 11:46) or a man (Galatians 6:5). You do not preach the gospel to an animal. The ALL NATIONS and to EVERY CREATURE still refers to the Jew before Acts chapter 10. Paul tells us there are three groups of people today: 1 Cor. 10:32 Give none offence, neither to the *Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:* The reason for a plethora of denominations is because they do not rightly divide the scriptures: 2 Timothy 2:15 15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, *rightly dividing* the word of truth. If you are HONEST you will find that Paul teaches some doctrine that contradict Jesus' doctrine. Why do think you have movements that state that Paul is a "false" apostle? The reason the catholics follow Peter is because the scripture states otherwise: 1 Cor. 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ Romans 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: The PAULICIANS were persecuted by the "state" church. We have no writings from them, only writings AGAINST them. Is not that convenient? Who were they following? The same goes for the persecuted Church from the beginning. The Bogomils, Cathars, Waldenses, Novations, Albigensens, Anabaptisits, and Baptists were all persecuted for being heretics. Luther had the advantage of Gutenberg's press, and the protection of German princes, otherwise he would have been killed as well. Acts 24:14 Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship. 12And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city: *13Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.* 14But this I confess unto thee, that after *the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers,* believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets: The first mention of heresy is the tag they gave to Paul. Acts 20:29-30 For I know this, that *after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.* *30Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.* 2 Timothy 1:15 *This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me;* of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes. Heresy did not start with Luther. It started while Paul was still alive.

@chadmeidl1140 Yes heresy was here ever since Pauls's days for sure, even while Peter was rebuking some of the elders for trying to keep in bondage the new believers by trying to make them follow the commandments and get circumcised, look at what PETER said to them, remember it was Peter preaching Faith, belief, and grace all at the same time; Acts 15:5-11 5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. 6 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. 7 And when there had been much disputing, PETER rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the GOSPEL, and BELIEVE. 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by FAITH. 10 Now therefore why TEMPT ye God, to put a YOKE upon the neck of the disciples, which neither OUR fathers nor WE were able to BEAR? 11 But we BELIEVE that through the GRACE of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be SAVED, even as they.

I am in contact with a hebrew Israelite type Christian. She think Christians should follow all the law (minus temple sacrifices). She uses the verse in Matthew 5 that says, "one jot or one tittle will not be done away with" to support her position.

Same here for example look at these words of Jesus; John 3:15-16 15 That whosoever BELIEVETH in him should NOT PERISH, but HAVE ETERNAL LIFE 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVETH IN HIM should not perish, but have EVERLASTING LIFE. John 3:36 He that BELIEVETH on the Son HATH EVERLASTING LIFE and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and BELIEVETH on him that sent me, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE; and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 6:40 40 And this is the WILL of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and BELIEVETH on HIM, may HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:47 47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that BELIEVETH on me HATH EVERLASTING LIFE. John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and BELIEVETH in me shall NEVER DIE. Believest thou this? John 10:28 And I give unto them ETERNAL LIFE; and they shall NEVER perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 17:3 And this is LIFE ETERNAL that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Exactly right! He was giving demands to the Jews for the new kingdom being set up on Earth, but he knowingly knew they would reject him and had to die to pay for the price of our sins that we could never pay. His teaching of the law made it clear how impossible it was to follow, even for the most devout Pharisees who observed every possible law with stringent attention to detail!

The lord came in the flesh and died for the sinner he will in no wise cast you out because of sin, for that debt has been settled, paid for in full ..believe thou this...this is the good news people, trust in Christ alone and rest in the finished work...the law was a school master to show us the need for a saviour ,in Matt 6-14 {in context with the previous chaptor} jesus is raising the bar when it comes to the law, showing his mainly hebrew audience that it is impossible to keep the law to Gods standard...but Jesus did being the only acceptable sacrifice that pleased God...salvation is a gift of mercy from a loving God ,NOT a reward for good behaviour...it's all Jesus

Keith. Jn 3:5 Born again of water n spirit. The vatican theologians n all Catholic teachers, incl u, get it wrong all the time. Water does not mean baptism. Period. Book of I jn says those who are born of God (ie born again), DO NOT SIN. Do not sin, do not sin, do not sin, do not sin, got it. DO NOT SIN. So it does not mean that when u sin u go to confession n start all over again. Wrong, wrong. Tht means u are still not saved if u commit habitual sin, no matter how small, if u sin n hope to confess it. I know of baptised catholics who sin immediately after confession for years n years n years. If u cannot believe or understand tht a man can live free of sin, after he is born again, then u are not born again, just like all priests, bishops n popes. So Keith, u are not in the Spirit. If u are born again of water n spirit, then the spirit is in control of your life. N u cannot understand this until u are born again. Thats why I can detect the vacuum in all your videos. All not of God n all not of the Spirit. N when u are truly born again, u will know the erroneous teachings of the Catholic Church n the spirit will lead u out of the Catholic Church. So u are not at this level yet, to preach born again. So sin must be out of your life. So pedophiles, sodomites n drunks cannot inherit heaven And the apostles were truly men of God n born again. N jesus would not hand over his authority to sex maniacs unless jesus was out of his mind. So theres no way tht the Catholic Church was started by Jesus. N if u want me to learn about Catholicism, why haven't u shown me the proof of the Immaculate Conception n assumption. BECAUSE THERE IS NO PROOF even at the vatican. N since u cannot show the proof why are u still in the Catholic Church n supporting the works n lies of the enemy
