@@sunchemical6901 The book of James says "Faith without works is dead." We don't earn salvation through works, but they are fruitages of the spirit. I notice you didn't address the scripture the person who commented quoted: "But the one who has endured to the end is the one who will be saved." (Matthew 24:13) or any scripture Doug Batchelor referred to. That's not how you have a debate. And no, I am not a SDA, and I don't agree with that Church or Doug B in everything they teach. @Nagy Erno Hi Nagy. Thanks for the reply. Could you elaborate? I'm not totally sure of your meaning, with all due respect. I don't want to write too much, but there is plenty in the Bible to refute the 'Once saved, always saved' teaching. It says that maintaining faith requires great effort, a “hard fight.” (Jude 3, 5) Early Christians who had already accepted Christ were told: “Keep working out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”-Philippians 2:12. It warns against serious sins that will keep a person from entering God’s Kingdom. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Galatians 5:19-21) If salvation could not be lost, such warnings would be meaningless. Instead, the Bible shows that someone who has been saved can fall away by returning to a practice of serious sin. For example, Hebrews 10:26 states: “If we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left.”-Hebrews 6:4-6; 2 Peter 2:20-22. Many other scriptures show that those who have been saved must still endure faithfully to the end. ( Hebrews 10:36; 12:2, 3; Revelation 2:10) And only when his death was imminent did the apostle Paul feel that his salvation was assured. (2 Timothy 4:6-8) Earlier in his life, he recognized that he could still miss out on salvation if he gave in to fleshly desires. He wrote: “I pummel my body and lead it as a slave, so that after I have preached to others, I myself should not become disapproved somehow.”-1 Corinthians 9:27; Philippians 3:12-14.

What if you DIED in your sleep without repenting from your last horrible sins like fornication, and little green lies, black lies, sweet lies, Little cheating here, and there? How will you still endured to the end? which means you are NOT saved, because you didn't endured. Isn't this a religious insanity? And as it is appointed unto men once to died, but after this the judgement, the bible says in Hebrews 9:27 I asked you to fully put your trust on the Lord Jesus Christ for your salvation, Just as a young child put it faith and trust on it parents. if you have that faith, you will not fight to endure to the end of the future you have no idea about. As soon you fully put your trust on Jesus Christ for your salvation, you will understand what true salvation is all about in Jesus Christ.

@@albertnyorkor9248 I understand it as, endure to the end meaning keep your faith til the end. And with faith comes true repentance. If you’re willfully sinning, your faith is dead. If you die in willful sins (lack of belief/faith/trust in Christ) then you are not saved. Hence why Paul says to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.” What Identifies The Sheep? But whoever keeps his word, in him truly is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.” Can We Stop Following Him? (Joh 6:63-67) “It is the spirit that vivifies; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. And he said, Therefore said I to you, that no man can come to me, except it were given to him of my Father. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus to the twelve, Will you also go away?” (1Ti 4:1-2) “Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;”

It started from John Calvin at the time of the reformation with Martin Luther, Wycliffe etc.. 5 point Calvinism known as TULIP is once saved always saved. Calvin broke off from the catholic church, but still held some catholic beliefs. T stands for Total Depravity. This means that humans are born sinners, and there isn't anything they can do to save themselves. This becomes an issue when we look at what “sin” is, as described in the Bible. “Whosever committeth sin transgresseth also the law, for sin is the transgression of the law.” 1 John 3:4 “To him who knows to do good, and does not do it, to him it is sin.” James 4:17 A baby is unable to consciously make the choice of wrongdoing. likewise, a baby is unable to kill, covet, steal, lie, etc. The idea that we are “born sinners” is a catholic belief, which is why they promote infant baptism. While I do agree that we are unable to save ourselves, as the T indicates, the U is where it starts to lose me. U stands for unconditional election. This means that in the beginning, God chose specific human beings to be saved, as well as specific human beings to be damned. There isn’t anything we humans do or don’t do, that dictates who will be saved or not. In other words, this can be described as “predestination.” “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 John Chapter 3 verse 16 indicates that God loves the world, which means everyone, not implying He has already chosen people to condemn. Also, it says that WHOSEVER believeth, meaning everyone has the “free will” to choose what they believe. If God predestined our fates, what's the point of free will? “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 This notion of free will is also implied in 2 Peter chapter 3 verse 9. L stands for limited atonement. This idea states that Jesus only died, to atone for the sins of those who God predestined to be saved. This becomes a problem when we observe the verses above, as well as these verses: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” 1 Timothy 2:5-6 “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all” Isaiah 53:6 “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor, that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.” Hebrews 2:9 “And he is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the world.” 1 John 2:2 Clearly God sent His son Jesus for ALL of us, not just random people he elected before the world began. I stands for Irresistible grace. This means that once you have been “elected” there is nothing you can do to lose salvation, you have eternal life no matter what you do. This is where the idea of “once saved always saved” comes from. This is a problem for multiple reasons. For one, this contradicts the “free will” to choose what we believe in. It also implies that we can continue sinning up until the day that we die, because of course, we’re born sinners, right? Wrong. “But when a righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned; in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them he shall die.” Ezekiel 24:18 “When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.” Ezekiel 33:18 “For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for judgement and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.” Hebrews 10:26-27 “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.” 1 Timothy 4:1-3 There are many other verses that concrete the idea that we have the free will to choose to “depart from the faith” even stating that some will, as in 1 Timothy. The other issue with “Irresistible grace” is it implies that we can continue sinning up until death, simply because that’s who we are..”totally depraved.” “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God Forbid! How shall we that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” Romans 6:1 Paul is making the statement clear that we shouldn’t continue to sin, simply because God’s grace is greater than our sin. Jesus didn’t just die to save us “in” our sins, but FROM the sin itself. “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:26-27 “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:48 Christ wants us to be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect, as He himself stated in Matthew chapter 5 verse 48. P stands for perseverance of the saints. This basically must happen because of the supposed “order” which Calvinist thought teaches. The saints will persevere because they have no other option.

"To become saved" vs "Being saved" is like "One who got married" vs "One who continues to stay married". Just because you got married doesn't mean that crossed the finish line. No. Thats the starting line. You have to continue in the marriage. Build that relationship. And you have freedom of choice to walk away from the marriage. God will never end His relationship with you, but a relationship take two people. We can end it with Him.

This is not accurate teaching! First of all, no human can undo the sovereign will of God on their life if the Lord has elected them! The can resist, but ultimately God wins no matter what! The pastor also forgot to mention that the Lord is quoted as saying that he will have mercy on whom he will! Salvation is the mercy of God toward us. Another problem with this teaching. None of us outside of Christ can sustain without the Holy Spirit! We do not possess the ability to sustain on our own without God's help! Whom the Lord Loves he disciplines and it is this that keeps us in the fold. If Jesus stated that it is impossible for him to lose all that the father has given him, how then can someone preach or teach the opposite. Remember, it is God's patience and mercy over the span of our lives that helps us recognize that he and he alone has held us even though we are not where we should be. Once again, if we have been predestined before the foundation of the world, then no one can undo what God has ordained!

We do eventually have our "GOOD" days brother and with the wisdom we pray and ask for daily, we will be shown a little more clearly each time we do sin and will be able to recognise STRAIGHT away when the enemy is on our tail and in our heads. We can then start rebuking it immediately, but that comes over time. Baby steps are a good start and the Lord will show you as you go along and feed you more. Starting with the gospels (Mat, Mark, Luke and John + reading some psalms) a decent bible is the New King James Version and watching peoples testimonies on here along with some SDA or strictly biblical sermons are a great way to stay and maintain your relationship with our Jesus. Once you are fully aware of the spiritual battle we ALL face everyday and with the support and faith of our Lord Jesus, we CAN fight successfully!! You WILL see results, some don't happen overnight, BUT you will start seeing heavenly blessings more often and when you do, you know you are on the right track to fight the good fight in staying on team Jesus and having the hope and with good reason of living in the light after this life forever. Man, we have so much to lose, but this time is precious for you and the Holy Spirit is definitely leading you to make some changes and pronto. You ARE being called brother to "good side". Feel free to ask any questions. Happy to support you.. Don't ignore this feeling and calling from above.. these are indeed the end times. And blessed are those who are being called in the last hour. Go for it brother!! You WILL see blessings in THIS life if you choose "LIFE" and that is ONLY through Jesus Christ. I am actually really excited for you.. No pressure, free will is what we have been given. It is only up to ourselves if we want and yearn for that gift freely given of Salvation. James 2:17-26 “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” ‭‭James‬ ‭2:17-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬ www.bible.com/1/jas.2.17-26.kjv Likewise the work of evil man will be rewarded according to the deed that was done. The Rwandan genocide, the Holocaust, some evil work that human do to another human will have it’s reward. God is the Lion and the lamb. He is merciful but he also give justice. Was Jesus talking to Christians when he said IF I find you to be lukewarm I will spew thee out of My mouth? The fact that He was addressing the church, implies that the people He was speaking to were born again Jews(aka) Christians. So why would he need to admonish them in this way, if there was no possible way to lose what they knew they had? Understand that these letters do not only apply to the THEN times church. The Revelation of Jesus Christ is a prophetic book, and these messages identify not only with all Christians simutaniously, but with certain eras of the church's history. It is quite phenominal actually.

Daniel Robertson Jesus was not speaking to the church when he said about lukewarmness!! Remember the parable of the sower: “Another parable He set forth before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while he was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed also darnel (weeds resembling wheat) among the wheat, and went on his way. So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the darnel (weeds) appeared also. And the servants of the owner came to him and said, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then how does it have darnel shoots in it? He replied to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Then do you want us to go and weed them out? But he said, No, lest in gathering the wild wheat (weeds resembling wheat), you root up the [true] wheat along with it. Let them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will say to the reapers, Gather the darnel first and bind it in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my granary.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:24-30‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ Everyone who “names the name of Christ” is truly of Christ. “The Church” is a mixture of the true AND the false. And no one will know who is who until the end!! You’re welcome!! 😌

I mean if I can lose my salvation (something I didn’t do anything to earn in the first place), if I am saved by my faith through grace and I have to work to keep my salvation and if I don’t work to keep it, and I lose it, do I have to do something to get it back again? @Teflon Don I am a believer, not a typical religious christian, far from the garbage they put forth. God has given life to all and his offer is to have an eternity with him, a bonus, or life extension, you may call this, to all who care for such, we all have this hope presented to us, this is a good God, no threats just a loving offer, that was provided by his Christ, or refuse to believe and live this current life and die at the end, without any hope for the extension, free to all, for Jesus Christ paved the way for it, yet we all must freely choose. We know already that this natural life will come to an end, is this all of what God intends, not even close, eternity is great with God's family of care and concern and power to sustain us all, i like this great creator God, for he is that awesome for us! First, one can not believe in Lord Jesus, the Christ, when they are born of the seed of the serpent, neither would they care to, per John Chapter 8. You are of your father, the Devil -- this is literal. Nobody believes this vital reality in the world in which we live! Now; ALL others can and indeed do believe! Therefore, we are commanded to believe per Romans Chapter 10:9,10. This brings about our salvation by allowing God to give us his seed, born within the new believer, this is regeneration by the holy spirit(NOT God, the spirit, but rather his gift within). In order for a person to receive anything from God, believing is required, hence this is how we please God, who in turn, rewards us accordingly.. This is a true saying: Romans 10:9,10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Confess your sin and repent to God. Repent means to turn away from you ways and to God. Commit your life to God, that you will live for Him and not yourself. Jesus is worthy to cover your life and give you righteousness. Have faith in that. With Him being your Lord and High Priest He will advocate for you, grow you, and lead you more into righteous living and to abhor evil living. Pray daily that you may grow in your relationship with God and tell Him all your doubts and fears .He will sustain you. You feel like you cannot overcome a sin? He can give you strength to overcome. Read your bible and you will begin to see. Pray for discernment to understand and God will bless you with wisdom to see clearly right rom wrong. I will pray for you as well.

If you approach the subject of salvation with the mindset that you could lose it, you misunderstand salvation completely. Salvation was never about you doing anything to earn it!! Therefore it can never be about DOING something to keep it. It’s not a matter of losing or keeping it.. Salvation has always been about relationship. God saves us so that we could have a relationship with Him. One without all the “rules”. One that is based in love and love alone. We love God because He first loved us. Jesus said if you love me you’d keep my commandments. What are His commandments, Love God and love people. All we are doing when we obey those two commandments of Jesus is responding to the extravagant love that God first had for us in dying on the cross just so that we could have a relationship with Him. Love is about relationship. And a relationship is what God has always wanted with His children! Nothing more, nothing less!!

Our sins, that’s why he said if you love me keep my commandments, we are supposed to love and appreciate the sacrifice that he did for un on the cross therefore making us keep his commandments because we love him, not to be saved but because we are saved, if you believe that God all mighty is not powerful enough to help us control our sins you don’t believe in the true God, you only want to live without keeping the commandments because you want to live the easy life, our Lord never said that it would be easy, he saved us from our sins, not in our sins.

Ok Doug...wanna claim you can lose your salvation, then you must lose it according these possible steps: 1. DIVORCE yourself from the family of God (Mal 2:16; Romans 7:4; John 1:11-12; Galatians 4:5) 2. REVERSE the regeneration of the believer (John 20:31; Acts 11:16-17; Titus 3:5-7) 3. UNCIRCUMCISE your heart & reattach the body of flesh to receive again the heart of stone (Ezekiel 11:19; Colossians 2:11) 4. AMPUTATE yourself from Christ's body (1 Cor 12:12-13; v18, v27) 5. FIND FAULTY the faithfulness of God & his Son (Galatians 2:16; Romans 3:22; Psalms 121:3) 6. DECLARE his once for all sacrifice to be in vain (Hebrews 6:4-6; 10:12) 7. BREAK the Father's seal of the Spirit (Ephesians 1:13; 4:30; 2 Cor 1:22) 8. ALIENATE yourself from the love of Christ (Ephesians 3:19; Romans 8:35-39) 9. RETURN the Spirit of adoption which you received (Gal 4:5-6; Romans 8:15-16) 10. CONVINCE the Father to abandon his commitment to protect his children (1 Cor 1:8; John 17:11; Jude 1:24; Romans 11:1; 1 Pet 1:5) There's much more steps I've omitted but the point given here is that death is impossible for those who are in the life (Christ). The overall purpose of the resurrection is that because he lives we will live also, salvation loss eliminates that blessed hope/assurance every believer has. To attempt these steps would be utterly silly because scripture does not give you any hints of those things happening. A Messiah that isn't faithful to actually save and grant eternal life when he says he will, is an anti messiah. Hoping the Scriptures will be searched line upon line with deep prayer..... The idea so we could ever lose our salvation is simply a heresy. Do I think there's awful lot of people that claim to be saved and people think that they were saved that turn out not to be absolutely yes, but a person who has 100% trusted Christ can never be blotted out. Belief in a Jesus that would let people fall away so bad that they lose their salvation and end up in hell after they were already saved and on their way to heaven is a Jesus that is foreign to scripture and cannot save you. "Saved" implies two things. One, we are saved in the sense we are rescued. Two, we are saved in the sense we are stored away and kept safe. Just like a grandmother might say to a child when they color a picture "I'm going to save this The blood of Jesus, and the assuring clench of the father is 100% IT. End of story. Nowhere does the scriptures speak of losing the GIFT of eternal life nor does it speak of obtaining eternal life multiple times, because one has lost it. Does Jesus have to die multiple times? You sir are a false teacher. The LORD rebuke you.

Don't cherry-pick bible verses to fit a made up doctrine from the reformation period..... John 14: 15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments." John 14: 21: "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him." 1 John 2:24-25 "Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life." Also, in the Greek, the word for "forever" is αἰῶνα, which simply means a space in time. It is a stretch to imply that one is "eternally secure" based on an that word in the Bible Also, the full verse reads "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he MAY abide with you for ever;" (KJV). So, from your comment you are trying to build an argument for once saved always saved that is built on straw. Lastly, just to educate you, "eternal/everlasting" are adjectives that describe the noun, which is "life". So, to say that our possession is eternal in an effort to make a case for "eternal security" is to misrepresent that phrase "eternal life". The life is eternal which is in Christ. Clearly, from scriptures, we must abide in Christ to have eternal life.

Respected Pastor Batchelor, I am an Indian from state of odisha and I have a doubt...very very big doubt. My father told me once that, son always be prepared, sin not, days are getting over. Now what he meant was....that about the Judgement days, I was completely shocked. He said:- 1) Son, Jesus is judging us every time, 🚩He started it since Adam and His(Adam's) phase of judgement got over when Jesus took resurrection(But it was unknown to us, He tells). That is a phase of People's judgement has already got over. 2)And next is that phase which is still going on(along with us included in it) after the arrival of Holy spirit from the day of pentecost. So 🚩But, many Adventist and other Protestants as a reference to Bible Prophecy claim that actually judgement has started in the year 1844. He also tells me, that 🚩after a certain period of Judgement is over, the Sinners will remain sinners and holy remain as holy people. There won't be salvation anymore. It is happening with me because I sin a lot this days. 😥Please help me Sir, I know you will have my answers. The sentences with red flag [🚩] are my greatest doubts. First phase of Judgement got over! bcos many went to Paradise after Jesus resurrected bcos evidence is it was said by Jesus himself to the sinner right next to him in the cross. 🚩🚩🚩How do I know whose judgement or which generation of children's judgement is going on now. Brother I have to totally disagree with you. You believe in Jesus? Is he God? Did he die and rise again, is he Lord of Lords and King of Kings!? Yes, yes, yes!! Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved! You are saved brother. Continue in Him, hold onto the Lord, dont let fear or doubt rob you of your peace and joy. That is the enemy confusing you and pulling you away. Remember we all have a fallen nature the 'old man'- the flesh and we all struggle with certain things. No one will ever be 100% free of sin.. it's a daily struggle but not impossible.. Christ is there every step of the way. Abide in him and he will abide in you. Be free in Jesus name. Blessings from Australia :)

@@EricSaavy Perhaps, I doubt and am bit like confused in that sense, It is said, Christ is the founder of Church, and More importantly Christ himself is Church, I agree but for Judgement to succeed, The church has 10 commandments which are to be obeyed with no regret, if we believe in "God=Christ=Church=Commandments=Holy Spirit=Eternity". But I am confused whether if the Catholic Church does it.... 1. If we believe in Almighty and Christ then why his resemblances like idols, Wooden cross, Rosaries, etc. The commandments warn us. 2. If we believe in Christ then why other Human forms are like supporting God's beside Him, like Mary(though she was his mother) but actually it was Almighty's will, Apostles, Saints, Sisters, etc. 3. Again according to Gregorian Calender the Days start from Sunday and for sure! we read it just like that and it is true. But the Bible says much about Sabbath(Saturday in Hebrew) day to be kept Holy. But yet Catholicism loves Sunday. 4. Catholicism has over the years proven to be so very very wrong you can just roam around the world to get most bad things in secret done by Catholic men and women. 5. And even more of it is the Food, the dress, the music we hear all affect our Spirituality which when not taken care of seriously suddenly leads us to start sinning. 🚩I don't blame the Christians but the paths they have chosen which seems not, could Fruitfy them with eternal life. Religions, Communities, Named Churches are all Man made what we should believe is "Christ was and is, Bible is and has set Commandments within it to be obeyed not in the name of Church but in his name". 🚩No Man should claim his religion or community is best "It is a shame on his Spirituality" because God has nothing to do with our Religion "He judges our Heart, our intentions, our behaviours and our preferences while we struggle to choose between right and wrong" the Good and Evil.

Ephesians 1:13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, If we add not, to what Christ has already accomplished, we are SEALED. If we attempt to work for our salvation, we fall from grace and are required to keep the law, which is impossible. Our good works come from a position of salvation, not a condition for salvation. We'll be judged at the dais for works done in the flesh and will receive rewards accordingly but we cannot lose our salvation based on Ephesians 1:13.

@orlanda ellis Hello Orlanda. Using the bible, we see that we do not have a choice. According to our bible, here is where faith comes from. Heb 12:2 says "...Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith". And Rom 12:3 says " ... God has allotted to each a measure of faith.” These two verses clearly tell us that faith is not something that we do or a presence of mind that we develop, but that faith is a gift from God. Rom 10:17 says " ... faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of Christ." So faith is a gift from God that we receive from the word of Christ, which in this dispensation we get from the Bible rather than from a burning bush. So in His time He will allot faith to us as needed from the word of the Bible. In 2 Cor 10:15 we see that faith can grow, so as we study the Bible God can add to our faith. Rom 5:1 says, " ... justified by faith" and Rom 4:5 says, " ... his faith is counted as righteousness". We clearly see from these verses that faith is not of our doing for that would be a works-based salvation and we know from Eph 2:8, 9 that salvation is surely not from works. However Eph 2:8 says something else that I never hear proclaimed and that is "For by grace you have been saved through faith; AND THAT IS NOT OF YOURSELVES, it is the GIFT of God.” In Eph 2:8 the "it" refers back to faith, which is consistent with Rom 12:3 and the other scriptures above and speakers very seldom talk about that. Faith is a gift from God. Rom 3:28 also says, " ... a man is justified by faith." We read in Rom 9:32 that Israel did not arrive at righteousness because they did not pursue righteous by faith but as though it were by works. If we must muster up our own faith then justification is by works and again we know that is not correct. We also see in Heb 12:2 that " ...Jesus is the author and perfecter of faith." which fits in nicely with what we have already seen. Jesus is not only the author -- the originator of faith --; He is also the one who perfects it in us. So we see that faith is a free gift from God and comes to us at our salvation (Rom 5:1 and Rom 4:5). In Acts 14:27 we read that Jesus had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles meaning that salvation was now freely available to all through Christ. In Acts 17:31 we read " ... having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead." The underlined two words come from the same Greek word that is elsewhere interpreted as faith but in a different tense. Thus it is like a verb and could read " ... having faithed to all men ...” When God gives faith to people, He faiths to us the absoluteness of the truth of Christ.

If we were all sealed, then the parable of the Talent is in vain! Faith without works is dead, if we are justified by grace through faith, then our faith has to be alive in order to receive Grace! 📖Matthew 25:14-30 [14]For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. [15]And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. [16]Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. [17]And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. [18]But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. [19]After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. [20]And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. [21]His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. [22]He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. [23]His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. [24]Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: [25]And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. [26]His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: [27]Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. [28]Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. [29]For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. [30]And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

@@KINGBEATZJB The New Testament take effect ONLY after the death of the Testator. Hebrews 9:16 You're quoting OT scripture that had NOTHING to do with the Body of Christ. These parables are always for the Twelve and Jesus spake this way so the Jews that were about to kill Him wouldn't understand. Matthew 13:10 I get why you cant see the two gospels but here ya go... Eight opposing precepts that may lead one to believe there are contradictions in our Bible if unable to rightly divide scripture and see the message/gospel for the Jews (circumcised) and the message/gospel for the Gentiles (uncircumcised). The Bible clearly defines the Kingdom-Gospel preached by Jesus and the Twelve vs Paul's Gospel of grace which was hidden until after the Jews rejected John the Baptist, Jesus, and Stephen. Three strikes you're out (temporarily) and a new gospel was delivered by the risen & ascended Christ to the Apostle Paul which was never seen by the prophets but was a mystery hidden in God. Colossians 1:26. Lets compare the differences between the Gospel of the Kingdom which was rejected by the Jews and Paul's/ours Word-of-the-Cross gospel message for today. God gathers Jewish members to the Kingdom (John 3:29) through the first gospel described below, and members (Jew or Gentile) to the Mystery ‘Body of Christ’ through Paul’s Gospel #2 below that. Gospel #1: Kingdom Gospel preached by Jesus and the Twelve... This is NOT our gospel for today. No person has been saved by the Gospel of the Kingdom for nearly 2000 years. Look at the opposing precepts and difference between these two Gospels below... Gospel #1: Gospel of the Kingdom. (Matt. 4:23, 9:35, 24:14, Acts 8:12) Gospel to the Circumcised. Galatians 2:7 1. The good news that the ‘kingdom of heaven’ is ‘at hand’ (Matt. 3:2, 4:17, 10:7). i.e., preaching the kingdom.’ Acts 20:25 2. According to prophecy 'seen' by the OT Prophets. Isaiah 40:3, Malachi 3:1 3. Obtain eternal life by keeping the commandments. Matt. 19:16-17 4. Water baptism (during confession) for the ‘forgiveness of sins.’ Mark 1:4, Acts 2:38. (John’s Baptism; Acts 19:3; the name of the Father; John 1:6, 33, Matt. 28:19) 5. Baptism in the ‘name of the Lord Jesus’ (Acts 8:16, Acts 19:5), ‘name of the Son’ (Matt. 28:19) 6. Receive the Spirit through the baptism in the ‘name of the Holy Spirit’ (Matt. 28:19) through the laying of hands. (Acts 8:17, Acts 19:6) 7. Justified by ‘works' and 'not' by faith alone. James 2:20-24 8. Kingdom disciples are under Mosaic Law. (Matt. 5:18, James 2:10) Now... Gospel #2 - Paul's Gospel This is our gospel for today that many believe is the ‘only’ gospel of the New Testament with inclusions from Gospel #1. This gospel message was revealed to Paul after Israel rejected their Kingdom which was truly "at hand" and their Prophet Jesus, through a revelation of the already murdered and ascended Jesus Christ. Note that Christ preached the ‘Gospel of God’ in Mark 1:14-15, which is Gospel #1 above to begin His ministry and 'before' He shed one drop of blood for anyone. Gospel #2: Paul’s “my gospel” (Romans 2:16, 16:25, etc.). Gospel to the Uncircumcised. Galatians 2:7. 1. The Gospel of the Grace of God Acts 20:24 2. According to the revelation of the Mystery; NOT seen by the OT prophets. Romans 16:25 3. Saved by God’s grace through faith APART from works. Ephesians 2:8-9 4. Sins are forgiven through the redemption IN Christ (Romans 3:24) and His shed blood (Ephesians 1:7). 5. Our ‘one baptism’ (Ephesians 4:5) is done by the ‘one Spirit’(Ephesians 4:4) into the ‘one body’ (1 Cor. 12:13), which is into “Christ’s body.” 1 Cor. 12:27 6. We receive the Spirit when hearing (Romans 10:17) and believing (Ephesians 1:13-14) Paul’s Gospel by hearing with faith. Galatians 3:2. 7. We are justified by faith apart from works. Romans 4:4-6 8. We are under grace and NOT under law. Romans 6:14 Satan has been deluding men (2 Thessalonian 2:11) into mixing together the two Gospels of the New Testament, adding 'works' (James 2:20-24) to Paul's Gospel of the Grace of God' (#2) which makes 'void' (1 Cor 1:17) the power of the cross, distorting the 'wisdom given him' (Paul) to their own destruction.' 2 Peter 3:14-16.

No it isnt. You are spreading a false gospel. Calvismism is a disease and is not biblical. How can you say someone who repented everyday for years was baptized, tried to not live in sin then turned away is still saved? Thats nonsensical. Repentance is necessary for salvation. Its not as simple as "just believe" Frankly, that line of thought is disrespectful to Jesus dying on the cross Hebrews 10:26-27. Christ dying on the cross is not a license to sin. To lie and tell people all they have to do is believe is dangerous and you are leading people astray. You are giving them a false idea of salvation. The bible does not once say OSAS. It says the opposite. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, John 5 28-29, 2 Peter 1:9 indicates that its your past sins that are forgiven NOT YOUR FUTURE. 2 Corinthians 7:10, 2 Peter 3:9, Luke 13:3, Proverbs 28:13, 1 John 2:3, Corinthians 6 9-10, 2 Peter 2:20-21, 1 Corinthians 15:1-2, 2 Corinthians 5:10, John 15:4-6, Exodus 32:31-32, Romans 2:5-11, Matthew 10:22 1 Timothy 4:1 Matthew 24:13 & Galatians 5:4 clearly indicates you can lose your salvation. Luke 18-30, Romans 6:23, John 9 31, John 8 48-51, John 5 14, Luke 8:13, Romans 6:1-2, Luke 5:32, 2 Chronicles 7:14, 1 John 1:9, Matthew 4:17, Acts 3:19, Mark 1:15, Revelation 21:8, Matthew 16:24, 1 Peter 1:16, 1 John 3:9-10. I mean should I keep going? Theres so many scrptures that support you have to keep repenting and turn away from your sins. Before you strawman of course you will stumble here and there but the point isnt to fall back into being lukewarm and lose your salvation. If we continue to live in sin without genuine repentance we will be held accountable for our sins, the bible makes that very clear. Jesus said many will seek but few will find bc the road is narrow (paraphrasing)

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Just too many scriptures that flat out refute this once saved always saved doctrine. Even Hebrews 6: 4-6 just spells it all out with a warning for those who believe otherwise. I do believe people sincerely believe this doctrine, but are sincerely wrong according to the myriads of scripture.

@@robertogarza8960 Greetings, So we both agree our "works" don't save us. The changing of the fallen sinful human heart is the work of the Holy Spirit in the repentive heart. Since the scriptures teach us to repent then we are told to turn away from sin. Now when I say I have faith what is the evidence? What type of fruits do we now manifest? Fruits of the flesh, or fruits of the Spirit? We don't do good works to be saved, but the works that are manifested is because we are saved, and the fruits are shown because of the by product of the Holy Spirit in our lives changing our hearts daily. As we agree together it's by Jesus sacrifice alone we are saved... what shall we done then? In Matt 7 their will be people that casted out devils, and yet Jesus doesn't know them! Working so called miracles is not evidence of Christ working on the life of a person, as the devils do miracles of deception too. We must understand the context of why people don't enter the kingdom. I appreciate you attempting to share a page on KZbin, and sharing their beliefs, but the Bible and the Bible alone is sufficient enough for me, and not ones private interpretations. The totality of scriptures proves, and declares one must repent...Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. I've heard every possible argument over the decades of the "once saved always saved" view points, and it just fails miserably to the scriptures . Don't get me wrong anyone can make the scriptures say anything they want. Mary is the queen of heaven, speaking in tongues is this babbling in the current Pentecostal churches, you cant give blood transfusions, it's okay to keep sinning, because were under grace, some even teach Jesus is not GOD. I'm well aware people are free to believe topically many things they are taught. I earnestly admonish you to ask GOD to send you the Holy Spirit, and He will give you liberally what you need. Jas 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. May our LORD'S blessings be with you and your loved ones my friend, as we all overcome this world by Christ, for Christ, and in Christ.

CharitySeeds No you do agree that works save you, cause what happens when some actually believe in what Christ did for him, but continues in sin? How is he not really saved when BELIEVED, and TRUSTED on him? Also, if repenting of your sins was the ticket to heaven, why was that phrase NEVER mentioned in the whole KJB? In acts 16:31 it’s says how to be saved and it doesn’t even mention repentance. Lordship salvationists often used that Hebrews 10 passage but it doesn’t hold water. So you sin willfully you’re done? That’s what the passage says right? EVERYONE would be burning in hell. Don’t take things out of context cause it’ll cause confusion. It was for Jews that wanted to go back to animal sacrifices, Jesus was warning them of that.

@@robertogarza8960 Strangely your trying to tell me what I believe? You can't read minds nor the heart, so be cautious. If you want to share your opinions, then fine, but if you believe in Christ and still want to continue in your sins, because you just say I believe, and go back to your porn, swearing, cheating, idolatry, fornication, whatever your struggle may be...then you will be Judged, because the devils believe too, and the lake of fire is reserved for them, and any that want to follow sin. Most Christian that read the bible understand we have an ADVOCATE with the Father in Christ Jesus who is faithful and Just to forgive us of our sins when we fall short. Not rocket science! Do you want to throw out all the bible to just hold on to a piece of a verse, so you can continue to enjoy your sins? 1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 1Jn 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 1Jn 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 1Jn 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1Jn 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1Jn 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. Mat 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Do you believe Jesus or not. Absolutely NO ONE can work their way to heaven. Its strictly on the merits of Jesus and what He did for us. Yet you fail to realise obedience IS the fruit of ones faith! What is the work of the Holy Spirit? Joh 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Joh 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; Joh 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Did Jesus tell us to believe in Him, and be converted, or go back to living a life of sins? Joh 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: ----->sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. If you believe the scriptures does it not teach us to repent, as what I just read from your reply, then I must believe you have NEVER read the bible, because even my once saved always saved dear friends don't agree with you. I'll follow the totality of scripture, not a piece of a verse. Pro_28:18 Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once. Mat_10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Mar_16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Act_17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Act_26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. Rev_2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Rev_3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. @Roberto Garza: I can't understand how any Christian would run the risk of leading someone astray with this dangerous (OSAS) doctrine. Heb 10:26 (For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins). How clear do you need it to be??? There is no other way to spin this. Heb 10:26 clearly says that if we continue to sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, the sacrifice no longer remains. The bible tells us to repent. And yet (OSAS) tells us that as long as we've said the magic words, we're good to go no matter how we choose to live our lives. That's a very dangerous doctrine.

Pray for WISDOM, GUIDANCE and revelation, to be shown our sins that we don't know of. Pray for God to shine light on your sins, so you can repent, ask for forgiveness and continue to believe. It IS a two way street here. You must have "some" idea of what sins you continue to commit, otherwise your conscience would not be stirred. You can't keep sinning and then asking for mercy each time. You SHOULD be asking for strength, guidance and support in stopping your sin. IF you KNOW your sin, you are to STOP your sin. You continuing to sin WILL keep you from God. Look at Adam and Eve? I used to respect this man as being knowledgeable of the Bible . After so many scriptures taken out of context I'm not sure he's even saved. I don't think he quite understands grace. It's a gift of God that cannot be earned by our human merits. If it cannot be earned than it cannot be kept by our merits either. If at any time in our walk with the Lord our salvation is dependent on our merits, that means many things. God shares His glory. That the sacrifice he gave of His perfect and Holy Son wasn't sufficient enough to save us. That the blood of Jesus isn't powerful enough cleanse all sin. That puts in to question that God is almighty. Do you realize how blasphemous that is? The problem isn't once saved always saved . The problem is you don't believe the Bible. You don't believe God is who He says He is. You don't believe He keeps His promises. Once again...... That's straight blasphemy Only the Blood of Jesus can wash away sin. The only Way to be saved is trust fully on the finished work Jesus on the Cross. God's perfect sacrifice is enough to save us. He doesn't need our works at anytime to save us ( which are filthy rags btw Isaiah 64:6) Hebrews 9:22 King James Version (KJV) 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. Ephesians 1:7 King James Version (KJV) 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version (KJV) 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Galatians 2:16-17 King James Version (KJV) 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. John 1:12-13 King James Version (KJV) 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. We are saved by grace ( the gift of God through His Son) to unto good works not saved by good works. To be born again is a spiritual rebirth not a fleshy rebirth. This flesh is not redeemed only the spirit is redeemed by His Spirit once we believe. This is why Lord said to Nicodemas you must be born again. John 3:3-7 King James Version (KJV) 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

If a plate is washed in water and it's stain be removed and somebody uses that plate and leaves it without receiving a wash, is it described as clean just cause it was washed a few moments ago. No it is not. Similarly if we repent and are baptized being wash of our sins inwardly and outwardly and we decide to go back into the mess we were cleansed from, how can we classify as being cleaned unless we repent and received another washing. The doctrine of salvation by works is not biblically neither is the doctrine of salvation by grace and not the law. Salvation comes by grace and we honour our gift of salvation by keeping his law.

I don't get how some people think that they don't have to do a darn thing to "maintain" that salvation. It is NOT of works, it is just a natural thing IF you LOVE Him, then naturally you WANT to please Him and it naturally comes easy to you. Does "lost" mean damned to hell? Is it possible these scriptures are referring to being lost during our life on Earth? In other words, could these scriptures just be referring to a human life of struggle, turmoil, pain, etc? But then once we pass on from here that God may have the grace and mercy to still allow us salvation? We are all only humans and make many mistakes. None of us can know with absolute certainty exactly what God will choose for us in the afterlife, can we? I'm genuinely asking, but I don't think any of us get to know for sure right now. This very subject has been weighing heavy on my heart due to recent events in my life. I like to think that eternal salvation is a precious gift from God, that once received, He doesn't take back. Where the Spirit of the Lord there is freedom The ten commandments written on stone where the ministration of death and condemnation. The ministration of the Spirit and righteousness exceeds the ten commandments. 2 Corinthians3:7 - 18 7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? 9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. 11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. 12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The purpose of the law was to expose sin. Without the law we would not know we are sinners. When a sinner repents, they are repenting from unbelief. You cannot repent of sin and suddenly you are not a sinner. We live in bodies of death that crave sin. Have you been angry at anyone? You are guilty of murder and deserve hell. Even breaking the law once makes you guilty of breaking the whole law. What you must do is admit you are a sinner and confess your sin, every time you sin, which is every day of your life. If you pretend you don't sin any longer and are attempting to gain salvation by following the law, you are lost.

John 3:16 is a powerful verse. However you cannot take once verse and reject the rest of the Bible. If that was so then the Bible would have only been that one sentence. Instead we have a whole book.

The number of verses in Genesis, the first book of the Bible is 1533, in all versions and languages. Matthew 5:18 and Luke 16:17 say that even to the end times, not a single letter of the Hebrew Scriptures will be missing. The verse numbers are right for nearly all versions. Even though no version except the Hebrew ones has all the letters, yet God has it that not a single letter will be missing! Because God is God, he is able to affect the numbers, and that the numbers may have some meaning hidden within, and there may be more information coded between the letters waiting for when people need the information enough and can use the newly invented computers to access the information. What may be told, may show the mistakes of the Human managed Religions. A man called Ivan Panin 1855-1942 found some patterns of 7, yet the main Intelligent Design organisations refuse to show those patterns. This shows that only individuals can find the patterns and that no organisations can, and that it is like the way God stops a Sinner from doing Sin, and that it is not a Priest or something, even if the Priest has an answer to his Prayer for the Sinner. I mention those numbers above as an example, but there is so many more. The most famous number is 2701, but I will let you explore, if you want. 2701=37*73 and 2701+1072[note that 1072 is 2701 reversed]=3773. I think that there is a commonality between 1533, 518, 1617 and 3773. 1533=73*3*2, 518=2*37*7, 1617=7*7*3*11 [The 11 being treated as a Roman II] and 3773=[7^3]*11 [The 11 being treated as a Roman II] In a very old version of Hebrew, the name of God looks like the number 3732, and a shorter word 732, look up the Wiki on the Tetragrammaton. Another well known number is 42, as Jesus was on the Earth ministering for 3 and a half years, which is 3.5*12=42=7*3*2! May God do well against Sin in Jesus...

I don’t know why these people call themselves Christian and say you can lose salvation. It makes absolutely no sense because these people use fear to enslave others so that they keep getting views which isn’t right. Please don’t listen to people that say this because they’re obviously not being biblical.

Those versus you bring up seam to talk about the false Christians, the Pharisees, the hypocrites. They went from us because they were never of us. God says He shines His light to all men! But those who live by the Holy Spirit are truly saved! “The true light that gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.” ‭‭John‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭CSB‬‬ What about numerous passages like these? “In him you also were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:13‬ ‭CSB‬‬ “I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭CSB‬‬ “Who can bring an accusation against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies. Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the one who died, but even more, has been raised; he also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us. Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: Because of you we are being put to death all day long; we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:33-39‬ ‭CSB‬‬

I remember my grandmother use to worry herself to death if she was good enough. She was an Adventist but not 7th day. I believe that is false teachings because it's saying Christ plus you got you to heaven. It's Christ plus nothing. I must admit there are things i don't understand but to say we can lose our salvation causes doubt and confusion and that comes from the devil. That does not mean we can live any way we want though. The Bible says that if a child of God gets too far away, he will fill an early grave, but not go to hell. JESUS is the lamb of God that took away the sins of the world. Past, present and future, but, there will be a day that we will have to stand before God and answer for our works, or lack of works but not our sins. They are under the blood if we are truly saved. That's what i believe.

@ Neri Baloney: You asked for a direct answer, so I'll be direct. Although the bible doesn’t forbid masturbation, all sex outside of marriage is sin. If this is something that you are doing with your spouse there's no problem. Or, if you are alone and thinking of your spouse while doing it, there's no problem here as well because the bible says the marriage bed is undefiled. Other than that, you may have a problem. Again... All sex outside of marriage is sin. Jesus tells us to purify our minds as well as our actions. Here are some verses that are tied to your question… Exd 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Pro 6:32 [But] whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he [that] doeth it destroyeth his own soul. Although the act of masturbation and adultery are not always one in the same, Jesus tells us we are to keep our thoughts pure as well as our actions. Take a look at what He has to say about our thoughts. Mat 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. So as you can see, Mat 5:28 tells us that it’s not just our actions that can cause trouble, but our thoughts can cause trouble for us as well. Masturbation can lead to a host of problems such as porn addiction, fornication, lasciviousness, adultery, and so on. Unless you are married and doing this with your spouse, or thinking of your spouse while doing it, it would be in your best interest to pray for the victory over this. Remember… God knows our thoughts as well as our actions. That said. The bible also says that the marriage bed is undefiled. Hbr 13:4 Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. So to sum up... As long as you are married and your thoughts are on your spouse, there's no problem. Other than that, sex outside the union of a marriage is sin. I hope this helps. God bless you.

I feel like some Christians think that being once saved means you are saved and if you sin then you where never saved. But if your a Christian and you sin just repent to Jesus and turn away from that sin

Both things you say are true, though you present them as contradictory. If you analyse Romans 7:1-4 as I do in my Ytube video #18 pt 1 and 2 'Myths in so-called Christianity', you find it is the believer that makes an oath not to sin, and if they do their oath was false and they lose their hope of salvation. However Galatians is about repentance to remain under grace, as Galatians 6 in particular. It is important to know that OSAS relies on the believer remaining under grace.

Doug Batchelor I take what I am hearing in this video that your answer is no. A lot of people do not believe in the power of Cross or the Blood of Jesus. That all their sins are not really ever fully forgiven, and they have to earn their way. That means that they do not really trust in Jesus Christ, they do not have enough faith to truly believe in his work on the Cross and his resurrection. And you do not under understand the power of the Blood Jesus. The O.T. and N.T. are two difference covenant or contract and we are only under the N.T. Jesus said to not mix the old with new in Luke 5:36 And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old. 37 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. 38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. 39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better. The N.T. is a much better covenant to follow, because it is the only way. You said in the video about Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, We could never be saved again know matter what but we can not sins once we are saved. Because we are no longer under the law for salvation but the Grace of God. Galatians 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Romans 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
