Need to use a full scanner to see what the codes are instead of throwing parts at it. Multiple things can cause those lights. Sometimes it's just the check engine light that trips all of them too... need to use a scanner that can access all modules (I recommend a scanner called BlueDriver as it's on the cheaper side and connects to your phone while also giving you access to all modules that other scanners don't), and see exactly what is throwing the codes
@mitchgriffin10 ай бұрын
Commenting to boost this comment so he hopefully sees this. I commented the same thing on the last video because as you said he is just throwing parts at it without having a scanner. The BlueDriver is a must have for anyone working on their own vehicles.
@JamesAutoDude10 ай бұрын
@@mitchgriffin yeah hopefully it's seen! BlueDriver is amazing simply because you can access everything for such a reasonable price. Most scanners are so basic and don't access anything but regular codes, even more expensive ones. You have to pay a considerable amount to get close to BlueDriver lol. Plus the fact it's on your phone and can always have updated information is next to none BlueDriver is game changer for DIY

No doubt about it, took me about a year to figure it out its the break light switch! 15-20 dollar part fixes all your issues.👍🏻
@jerryperfect930310 ай бұрын
Probably need to clear the error codes now that you replaced the parts. Usually can do it with a simple code reader.

I had to go get genuine GM hubs to get the lights off along with a lot of my friends, it sucks because they're twice as much as the parts store brands but I can't stand riding around with service lights on! That's just me, I like my stuff right!

On my 2011 Silverado I had the same lights on and my buddy who owns a shop had to replace the rear speed sensors for the traction control and a sensor in the column right behind the steering wheel for the stabilitrac Hope this helps love the videos man!!

I had this happen on my 08 Sierra it was the brake switch under the dash for me , could also be cause the code needs to be cleared out. Love the content 👍🏻

May want to check out the abs sensors or the brake light switch. Had a 12 sierra and the brake light switch went out and caused these lights to come on. I know it sounds crazy
@RichPrivilegedWhiteMale10 ай бұрын
It may be a defective time part. Or the truck plug for the wheel speed sensor plug.
@JacobVolano-ur5vh10 ай бұрын
My 2013 Silverado had the same lights and it was a steering angle sensor. It fixed it for probably 2 weeks and now they come on and off every other day or so. You can take it to auto zone and they have a scanner that will tell you what is causing it. I just know nothing is majorly affected so I just drive it.
@johnnyp557310 ай бұрын
They have an obd2 scanner not a brake scanner
@sethsnipes40810 ай бұрын
The 07 -13 will throw those codes when the abs module has issues. Check the rear speed sensor or sensors. And it could be as well if the alignment it’s correct in specs.
@mitchgriffin10 ай бұрын
Please invest in a BlueDriver so you can scan the codes. It will save you SO MUCH time and is the only possible way to fix the vehicle efficiently. Trying to fix a light that has 100 different things that can make it come on by replacing random parts is a sure way to drain your wallet.

check your rear abs sensors sometimes when you work in the rear suspension they got unplugged the connection is located right next to the upper shocks bolt

My Silverado had the same problem, but only after my throttle sensor failed 😳. I fixed that problem and it was still on for a good minute but it’s went away on its own 🤷♂️

Steering angle sensor. If the wheel steering wheel is way off or sensors in rear axle for traction control. One on each axle tube

The previous models you had to replace the module on the abs pump but im not sure on the newer ones

Brake switch. Part #SLS450 at O’Reilly…. It like $35 and it fixed my service stabilitrak and and lights. Easy fix just one 10mm bolt on the brake pedal

If you struggle to get the truck out of park and have to mash the brake pedal at times to get it in reverse or drive then I would say I’m 99.9% sure this part would fix it

Ik u would've thought it was a wast of cash but I would've put all new parts on as u had most of them off I just done this same thing for a different reason and had to go back in and replace sum stuff so I got new wheel bearings new rotors new pads and calipers the whole nine yards

When this warning indicator light comes on in the dashboard, this could be an indication of several issues such as faulty wheel speed sensors, a faulty steering angle sensor, a faulty rotational speed sensor or a problem with the steering rack.

Bring it to the dealer. I have them tell you and you fix it. That’s what I do if I really don’t know what it is.

You may have to disconnect the the battery, disconnect the positive and negative battery terminals, let it stay disconnected for 20 to 30 minutes, doing that clears any Check Engine lights aka codes, sometimes that will work

I replaced my rear shocks on my 09 avalanche and I accidentally unplugged my rear passenger side traction control sensor. I’ll check that connector on the rear by tracing the wire to the connector. They’re just like the front where they have one for each side soo maybe the did the same mistake and didn’t catch like I did🤷🏼♂️ it’s the thought that counts🤣
