They are saying in the video that theres a lot of icm. Your sims are having that in consideration? It dosent seem so. Cheers

If you are referring to the beginning of the vid, I think he is talking about Dvoress being a sit n go player, which means he will have a very good understanding of ICM. To answer your question, no, I didn't use ICM in these sims. Since its an MTT there will be some ICM considerations, but this was early on so it's not clear what the ICM impact would be.
@Bisirsky
@Bisirsky 2 жыл бұрын
While 52 palyers of 83 are in game, the ICM impact is rather small. Bubble factor about 1.1, but in this hand particulary they don't go for a big part of their stacks, so yeah this impact is really not significant for strategy.

i think exploitatively most players aren’t checking back enough Tx hands OTF that have marginal SDV (T7, KT, JT, etc) -> hence, capping IP’s range to just weak pairs + Qx OTR. because of this, would a small size (B25/B33) be more efficient for most of IP’s range OTR?

Will induce raises, but rational is good, i agree, burns mainly had chosen this size intuitively to apply max pressure.

Yeh I agree w/ flop statement... Even a hand like qt, it takes a multi step thought process to consider turn dynamics on diff ranks & protect vs wider/polar probes w/ relevant Xb ranges. Another point is the way the 4str8 run out in the BD fashion meaning both ranges aren't OVERLY condensed around the straight so IP doesn't have to start bluffing waaay into the echolons of his equity barring Ahi. Contrasty, on perhaps a 3str8 flop, in diff lines, we might bluff as high as 2p in some configs/formats. Linus' River considerations also have to consider VB range for IP as well as range morphology/Asymmetry. The calls obviously quite sick. Not massively dived down the 4str8 MDA rabbit hole but I'd imagine the read is good if CO is finding good Ahi bluffs that he might be over the inflection point to incentivize calling ALL catchers.

@SneakerWorld Romania yea and if there's one manaic willing to raise you if you get cute with a small bet/small pair on the river, dat boy is Linus. I would never goof around there.

They predict their hands few times. The other thousands x 1000 they can't. Poker is a lot of luck. GTO and other stats are a complete joke. It's gambling folks

If it’s all luck, how do you explain people who play for a living consistently profiting year after year? How do you explain players who are regularly running deep in MTTs? Are they just the luckiest people of all time?
@badbeatking80
@badbeatking80 2 жыл бұрын
@@BrodyGrim first off I didn't say all luck. So how many players rely solely on cash games to pay rent, bills, and make an actual living? They are either in debt or living with family and friends which is not making a living A lot of players branch off to KZbin channel, podcast, sponsors/ endorsements if they can. Others have binked a big tournament with tremendous luck and living off that for now. Your actual grinders go to your local casino and take a look. Nothing glamourous about that life. Poker is gambling. In the long run, you will likely go broke.

@@fortunemy6026 Hes not exactly wrong. You can be the best player in the world, and variance can hit you hard enough you go broke. It's just reality. Variance can last an entire lifetime. BenCB knows this very well, even being one of the best in the world, he ran so shitty he was down enough that 99% of people would have left the game and never returned. That's why he branches off into teaching and other ventures. If poker skill was a guaranteed way to print money, Ben would have zero incentive to teach it.
