A grateful Donald Trump was in Milwaukee on Monday to make final preparations for the Republican presidential nomination later this week after narrowly escaping an assassination attempt that he said presented an opportunity to bring the country together.
Trump, 78, was holding a campaign rally on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania - a key state in the Nov. 5 election - when a 20-year-old man with an AR-15-style rifle got close enough to shoot at the former Republican president from a rooftop.
One shot hit Trump's upper right ear, leaving his face streaked with blood, but he was not severely wounded. His campaign said he was doing fine.

I am a woman, several years ago when I was looking for work, I came across a job position that had the requirements: 'must be able to lift 50 pounds'. I am unable to constantly lift 50 lbs throughout a working day, so I didn't apply for that job. So, why were there short and petite Secret Service Agents who were attempting to bodily protect Donald Trump, who is a big man and over 6 feet tall?? Female or Male -- Secret Service Agents need to be capable of doing their job of protection.

However, my very first thought, as an armchair critic, that this looked like deliberate bungling. No, things just don't add up. That building not being included within the perimeter, and a ladder just happened to be leaning against said building, clearly no security monitoring said building, a "lone wolf" kid who just got lucky enough to be able to climb said ladder with a rifle ... snipers who didn't notice ... hmmm ... too many moving parts in this scenario that had to come together.
