I was invited to accompany 3 friends driving from the west coast to NY for the event. I'd have to share gas, food, and accommodation there and back, plus pay the entrance fee, which iirc was $15 for the weekend. I couldn't afford it.

Yeah, I myself was still just a little bit to young to go to Woodstock by myself, and being that I was born into a very fanatical religious environment, there's absolutely no way that I would be able to get my parents to take me, in fact, if I would have even asked them, I would have faced some very harsh punishment!!! But, I guess it was for the best, because as this video has already pointed out in just the first couple of minutes, the whole thing didn't turn out exactly the way it was supposed to, and with the violence that took place, it was no place for anyone to be, especially children!!! But I do have to admit that the music and the bands were all damn good ones, and they did their job as best as they could considering all of the chaos!!! Ernie Wilber 🤘👹🤘✌️

You call half a million a small army? They weren't planning for that number, it just happened. My brother was supposed to park cars...that couldn't even happen. Furthermore, there's no evidence that babies were born at the festival and George Harrison wasn't there either. He visited Dylan the year prior.
