I love this as a border, especially since it uses up scraps and I want to use up every bit of fabric possible... but if I did it as a full quilt I'd probably lose my mind. 😅 Thank you for this video! It's a wonderful idea!

This is so cute! I did something similar to this a few years ago but I wanted my triangles to look like streamers of bunting blowing in the wind. So it was the main body of the quilt with a piano key border.

It was satisfying watching you make the confetti squares. I like quilting without too msny rules. Looking forward to seeing it n a quilt. A baby quilt with a confetti center and perhaps a tonal solidl border would be lovely. The confetti also reminds me of shards of stained glass.

That is a wonderful idea. I can't stand to put those small scraps in the trash either. I use them in my crumbs and strings blocks. No two blocks look the same. Happy New Year! I sure hope the storms, that we are expecting tonight and tomorrow, are not as bad as the ones that killed so many people in Kentucky just weeks ago.

I was watching you trim your pieces and it seemed you have a unique cutter. There wasn't a clear picture of it but I stopped the video several times to check it out. I always have problems with wobbling when I'm trying to cut or trim and I just love how it seems your cutter would be easier to cut straight! It seems to have a right angle to the cutter making it very ergonomic and I haven't seen it anywhere. Could you let me know where I could get one? I live in Canada and I hope that it is also available here. Love it!

Hi Leslie. I like the cutter. It’s a bit tricky though. The blade needs to sit straight when cutting unlike traditional ones where you have it at an angle✅
