I’m a seamstress of wedding dresses , as English is my second language. Will you demonstrate how to adjust a bra band (around the torso) that is too big?

That’s an interesting one! Most bras have the hook and eye closures sewn on as a separate attachment (like a ‘trim’)!so if you were to just seam rip that section off, you can cut the band and topstitch it back on at a different place!

Would you use regular polyester thread for this, with a ballpoint needle? I have so many straps that need shortening… thank you for this!!!

Yes, regular polyester Tex 30 thread and the ballpoint won’t hurt but isn’t necessarily required!
