Brilliant vlog as always Cammy & Lizzie, can I just say what a cracking young lassie you have in Marissa , she is a hard worker that’s for sure and you can tell she loves what she is doing. Cammy I also love the relationship you have with your sheep, talking to them, calming them down, calling them lass etc each and every Ewe has a place in your heart which to me a non farmer is beautiful to see. Spot is coming on leaps and bounds,, he is going to be an amazing dog for you Cammy. Jock mucking out was brilliant, he’s going to be your righthand man one day and run the farm. Much love to you all and I will watch tomorrow while nursing a sore tongue because I am having biopsies taken from there. Stay safe 🏴

That Lambie you pulled near the start is a huge belter, my dog Cammie! When you laid it out by mom it was half her length. That "bike" with 5k on it is a testament to how well it's made. You've put it through lleh and it is still going strong. If this video is demonetized, it shouldn't be. Five ads during it so I hope they start paying. Angus is walking great now, yay. And Lizzie's glow is getting brighter. Marissa is still gold and getting shinier by the day. See ya' tomorrow.

The sheep are sure making you run, and wipe-out! Angus takes after you with the head plant. The boys and nephews are fun to watch helping out. Loose sheep in the house is hilarious, but maybe warn Lizzy first. You did lose some but you saved many more. Hopefully the weather eases and the temperature at least goes up. Now rest up for tomorrow. 😌💤

Hi Cammie, Just wrapping up the most relentlessly wet lambing I've ever experienced in South Wales. For the cold lambs, give them a pump of one of the proprietary energy boosters on the market. The alternative for the lambs that arrive back home is a super conc. solution of veterinary glucose in water, no more than 20mls as you don't want to fill their bellies with it. If nothing else, it will get them through the warm box quicker and leave the kitchen sink unoccupied. Hope this of help....

My partner sand myself are spending a few days in the Lake District. As we drive around we’re surrounded by hundreds of sheep and baa lambs. I was thrilled to spot twin black lambs snuggling up to each other. I can distinguish between new born ones and those that were born couple of days ago. I watched a farmer doing his rounds through different fields checking what was happening. I think watching these videos has given me the teeniest, tiny idea of how valuable our farmers are to us. I’m so impressed with Cammy, Lizzie, family and friends who work so very hard. Bravo.

Cammy - when you use the electric fence to block the corner of the field with the dog issues, could you run the electric fencing just inside the field’s fencing right by the path. Perhaps if a few dogs or people got zapped they’d learn to avoid coming into the sheep’s fields!

5300km is almost 3300 mi, for those of us who use freedom units. You could get from NYC to LA and about 1/5 of the way back in that distance. As the crow flies, you’ve driven all the way from the UK to Bermuda in what is essentially a fancy souped up ATV. Another 500km and you will have enough distance to have crossed the whole Atlantic Ocean into Canada. It seems fairly normal except 1) you’re in Scotland where distances are way shorter, 2) you’re basically only driving it in one small town, and 3) It’s a souped up ATV, not a car.

Spot is coming on great, you can see the difference in just the past week's of videos, learning what you want and how the sheep are likely to react. I don't envy you running a farm with soon to be 3 little ones, but you'll have a lot of help from them in a few years. Grew up feeding the (purchased) orphan lambs and the annual new calf on our little homestead farm, my mom even got a crop of orphans one of my college spring breaks so I could do that first week of 4 hour feedings! 🤣

I live 9 miles west off you and the weather is atrocious for both, your sheep, and my grass reseeding. Too much rain for both of us. DOGs. I grew up with them, the first a border collie " Laddie" , a bitch, and many others since. People have lost touch with nature, countryside, and farming and the proper behaviour when owning a dog. In the fifties, I went with my Grandfather and his cronies, all ex farming men from Ireland, and walked around all the local farms on Sunday, using rights of way, checking the stock and having a great time. They all had dogs, who didn't come on the walks, but stayed at home. Little wonder 4 of the five rights of way we used are virtually closed. Really enjoyable viewing and best wishes for the lambing. Spot is really coming along, new home and new master. In at the deep end and perhaps not encouraged to " grip " in his previous life. He looked to be enjoying it tonight, two boys playing. best of luck. 2
