Nabbing the enemy gear is Historical. The 82nd Airborne captured thousands of panzerfausts in Operation Husky (Sicily), and was using them in Normandy.

Right, but I think grabbing a panzerfaust, rifle or mortar is one thing, grabbing whole loads of enemy tanks kind of defeats the purpose, as Japan's tanks are a lot crappier in general than say Soviet or American ones for example Just my personal rule ofc, you can play it your way and I think thats the cool part about Conquest

@@theShermanator...unless you are the Germans. They made a Thing out of using large numbers of captured tanks. Beutepanzer being the term. They were chronically short of gear. If you're the US or Brits.....not so realistic.

it's actually not "knee mortar" but "hip mortar". because of this translator's error several soldiers get their knee caps crushed after shooting it from the knees.

Great news that you're doing a conquest without captured equipment! Will make it more exciting and unique :) And to static weapons I'd say keep them to sell them and buy native ones. Again, makes it different from how you've played so far

Cheers, I definitely will be playing around with how to deal with statics, Valour seems to have a HUGE supply cost for foreign stuff so it will eventually happen anyway I think

Valour works now! Yay! The maps aren't that weird Japan fought against China, UK, India, and ANZAC on the mainland and Russia north of Vladivostok.

Keep the weapons, like MGs and mortars. However the bigger guns like 13pounders antitank can be like the tanks and just sell

yes the japanese commanders wants to study the heavier weaponry but the mortars and mg's are doable since they already know how they work XD

In the new update they added indicator from where the enemy is coming in conquest defense so you don't need to use arrows infinite anymore 😃

​@theShermanator By the way, apparently if you have small defenses research, the ai sandbag positions will always face where the enemy faction will spawn. I've discovered this some time ago with some of my friends but anyways it is a usefull tip to know where the enemy is.

Didn't know the Japanese were a playable faction - very cool! Understand Sheman trying to keep it 'umm' honest (not using captured equipment in later battles) but think a fun part the game (& captured equipment used against the enemy 'is' part of warfare 🤔). I wouldn't want him stop taking enemy gear (if anything take more of it..). Selling off captured equipment servers much of the same function as using it in future battles (but for me would be hard to part with refurbished KV-2 or Nebelwerfer if I'd acquire one 😁). I'll enjoy the 'Banzi..!!' charges to come - best wishes.

you could keep the captured vehicles but sell them for money to buy equal equipment. thats what i do

Only using them kinda 'makeshift' during defence would be ok :D But Motars and stuff on the offense makes the game to easy.
