Hi Shermanator and everyone else, It’s amazing to see another video doing so well! This one especially resonates with me because I’m finally getting to work on new features that will finalize the core game design-something I’ve been eager to develop for a long time. Feels a lot like a Planetary annihilation but slowed down and actually chilll without having to check 5 planets at the same time.

@@theShermanator not if you are organized but I have to admit that Plannetary annihilation is not for the faint hearted. You have to be concentrated from the beginning till the end of you want to win in that game.

That is so true, aggression, recon, and tactical hits make for a rather large snowball that sets the game up right for the opposition if you can't take care of countering it right away

I played line war a long time ago when it just came out and we were all begging and waiting for singleplayer AI 😭I might redownload it since its a feature now haha

Oh it's so good now, you even have MORE AI than a few months ago, definitely worth checking it out, especially if you already own it!

im so happy this game is finally updating when they first released it it got boring after a game or 2 now with solo playing its so much better

Man it's been such a blast playing COOP, I get busy playing "Transport Tycoon" - ferrying units from one airfield on Island A to another airfield/strip on Island B lmao

Yep, in the intro some of the nearby units actually attempt to shoot it out the sky haha - luckily I was able to complete the nuke and destroy Davidson before the AI could :D

This reminds me so much of Supreme Commander on PC which I played a lot in high school. This looks so much more expansive and more depth though.

I believe I heard it a few times haha, less than before though, granted when a lot of guys are dying it might still happen? But you could definitely talk to the devs on their Discord for feedback I guess

Oh 100% - I would recommend taking a look at them again after you've given the game a shot, it helped me clear up some questions that I didn't really get u til I just went and played a lil bit, they are video based and can (thankfully) be accessed in-game during a session too

Do you have any tutorials or guides for totally new beginners? I find the official's short video format to be.. I don't know, it shows the topics but I don't get how stuff work together or what players usually do at the beginning. I'm so bad that I got murdered by a 0.75 AI...

I'm sorry am I missing something or does it feel like we're talking about this fully released game from 2 years ago like it's an early access product? A pause menu was just added?? If this is like a solo dev or very small team I understand but wow not having co-op at launch for a RTS is really bewildering. This'll definitely stay on my radar but I'm just extremely confused how the AI didn't know how to use units and mechanics in the game at launch.

@@Edgical the game never launched with AI, it was purely a PvP game for years and yeah it is a very small team, 1-3 I believe

@@theShermanator Interesting ok that makes a lot more sense then. Things weren't really connecting in my brain with all this update information but yeah if it was mainly PVP at first that explains pretty much everything. Thanks for clarifying this. Great video!
