@sarthakjoshi37975 жыл бұрын
Clouds are also beautiful ... Why do people mostly view sunshine as something positive? Isn't darkness the more astounding underlying reality of sunshine ? Isn't most of the universe dark and empty ? Sunshine is there because there's sun. Sun will die, as will all other stars, and us too. Darkness and emptiness is the only thing(if I can call it that) which will always remain.

Well this is just a simple song To say what you done I told you about all those fears And away they did run You sure must be strong And you feel like an ocean Being warmed by the sun When I was just nine years old I swear that I dreamt Your face on a football field And a kiss that I kept Under my vest Apart from everything, but the heart in my chest I know that things can really get rough when you go it alone Don’t go thinking you gotta be tough, to play like a stone Could be there’s nothing else in our lives so critical As this little home! My life in an upturned boat, marooned on a cliff You brought me a great big flood And you gave me a lift To care, what a gift You tell me with your tongue And your breath was in my lungs And you float over the rift I know that things can really get rough when you go it alone Don’t go thinking you gotta be tough, to play like a stone Could be there’s nothing else in our lives so critical As this little home! Well this will be a simple song to say what you’ve done I told you about all those fears and away they did run You sure must be strong And you feel like an ocean Being warmed by the sun Remember walking a mile to your house, a glow in the dark I made a fumblin’ play for your heart and the act struck a spark You wore a charm in a chain that I stole especially for you Love’s such a delicate thing that we do, with nothing to prove Which I never knew

At the time I was seeing this girl I was absolutely mad for, she was everything I wanted in someone at the time, and things were going incredibly until suddenly they weren't. I remember listening to Port of Morrow in it's entirety for the first time with her and I remember her falling just as deep into this song as I did. While not my favorite song James has done it's still responsible for getting someone I loved very deeply into his music and for that I'm thankful.

I just finished season 8, on my way to season 9, just a while ago I was feeling really down. But when I finished episode 24, I felt hope and awesome-wait for it-ness flow through my veins. I love THE show and I love THIS song already. Guess you can say this song and show was a boost for me. Thank you!

I heard this tune on "HIMYM" back when it was shown.. And the last verse never left me "walking a mile to your house a glow in the dark I made a fumbling play for your heart and the act struck a spark " absolutely delighted to have finally found it.. Great to find out its the shins. Fantastic verse and song.

When I come back to this song i used to listen two years ago I start smelling that air, and remember so many things. It happens most of the times with other songs, but with this the feeling is stronger than ever
