Sonic the Hedgehog Bendable Figure Retrospective: 1995 - 2023 | The Sega Collector

There are 30 years worth of Sonic the Hedgehog figures of varying shapes and sizes. However, throughout all that time there have been only a handful of bendable Sonic collectibles. Some of them you can still find today, but others are as scarce as they are expensive! Let's take a look at some of these rare and fantastic collectibles!

Note: Las month, a Pac-Man arcade video was made and all of us behind this account explained that if it did not do well (view wise) it may be the last video on the channel. It got some traction, but still quite pathetic compared to past videos. So we are trying to breathe some fresh air into the channel with a new format of video. A well done retrospective! I used to have that set of Sonic Adventure bendables. Honestly though, you are my exact opposite(not sure if that means we have to be enemies now or not…) I was never big on bendy figures. I’d take em if it was all I could find of a character that I really wanted a toy of. But as far as my collection now, gotta be action figures. I don’t disagree with your reasoning for liking the Sonic bendables. it’s true that in the past, figures of sonic that tried to be super posable looked hella weird. However, I love what Jakks is doing with their 2.5” line right now and they’re among my favorite Sonic toys currently in existence.

Just found a SA2 Bendy Sonic with his base at a BookOff for $25! Followed by a Resaurus Sonic with base and ring for $19 at the same store too. Had to immediately make that purchase

I actually had the Toy Island Sonic Adventure release of that 4 Pack. Sadly I was a dumb 5 year old who didn't know how to keep stuff neat or out of his mouth, so they ended up in very poor condition. I loved them anyway when they were not busted lol

I love the Joyride bendy SA2 figures, I once saw a Shadow at a swap meet for $80pesos, around $4-5 dollars, unfortunately he was missing an arm and the nose so I just didn't really bother

Tbf, that's where I first saw it and for $5 it's pretty harmless. But I see other stores selling it for $15 or for $20. Don't be ashamed you own it, one day it will be discontinued and you are going to own a piece of collecting history!
