Great video as always. Living in a red/ grey area I'm in a constant battle to remove the greys. Your approach of sitting quietly is what I use all the time. Have never built a hide. Be quiet and still and it's amazing what comes by and very close too, not just greys. The Reximex is quite long for a bullpup and a tad heavy. Also that cocking lever looks to be in a weird place. Each to their own but not sure that set-up would work for me.
@theshootingshow11 ай бұрын
Yes, setting still is probably the most underrated hunting tactic in the book. I think cocking lever positioning is always a bit tricky with bullpups. Great gun for the money, though. All the best. Mat

Always enjoy watching you shooting,i have found that if you find a good spot you can get 🐿️ on there runs,I go out most mornings and from the same spot always tend to get the greys on there runs, sometimes 6 metre shots to 50 meter . Get to know your patch it pays dividends, i am always pleased to get female, less to reproduce better for the rest of the tree life and bird life 👍

I can already tell now that the wooden trigger guard is a very weak point and will only need a small bumb to crack. Follow the wood grain and you'll see that the front side will be the place it will crack. Same with the slim part that goes up from the grip. Even different weather conditions can cause it to crack. A black alloy trigger guard would also look better and do not have to be stupid wide. I do understand that it's made so wide to get more strength but it won't help. The only way to make it a bit stronger is to drill holes from the underside all the way up and reinforce it by glueing metal or carbon pins in it with epoxy. For a few pounds more the Reximex can have a metal trigger guard and still won't break the bank.

@@RomekRolnik Thanks! Just logical thinking mate. Hate sponsored reviews with a leak of knowledge. Heard to much b.s from this fella. Last review he told the HW97 had an anti bear trap safety mechanism😂😂😂

Is that what happened to your Reximex Zone? How did you fix it?
@rapalaron634811 ай бұрын
@@reservedone1791 You don't need to own or be an engineer to know this. Just common sense mate. You know, there are many looking here for advice before buying an air rifle and can spend their money only once on "budget" air rifle. Every other woodworker will agree with what i'm saying. I give a lot of thumbs up but the truth has also be told.
@reservedone179111 ай бұрын
OK, so you're making it up based on watching a video, but don't actually own one, or I'm guessing even seen one in the flesh, let alone picked one up. Just checking. I agree that many are looking for advice on here, including me, but making things up without basis is just as irresponsible. @@rapalaron6348

Great hunting mate,but come on that reximex is just a revamped kral and I thought bullpups were supposed to be small,and its a semi bullpup as a real bullpup has its cocking lever more forwards normally above the trigger not by the cheek peice

Much enjoyed, always good to see a few greys biting lead. But please, Matt, will you please stop reviewing new rifles, (only joking), as everytime you put forward such informative reviews, I want that rifle. Lovely looking BP, at a very competative price. My only critasism, as I'm a lanky 6'7", the side lever seems to be, awkwardly, a bit far back. Big Steve, East Yorks.
