at that sort of price i think i'l stick with my wildcat mk2 just as accurate if not more so and the option to change out your barrel liners not to mention more than double the shot count from one fill. the weirach does have it beat on magazine capacity though i will give it that !
@cbellasbusta46435 жыл бұрын
You don't need any 3rd party apps to lock the focus. Just press the screen to focus on the cross hairs then once focused press and hold to lock How to lock the focus and exposure Launch the Camera app from your Home screen or Lock screen. Tap the screen to choose the part of the image you want to focus on and expose. Tap and hold on your focal point until you see an AE/AF Lock banner appear at the top of the screen, to lock exposure and focus. Tap the shutter button when you're ready to take your photo. Tap anywhere on the screen to unlock the focus and exposure again at any time.

Also have a sx 78 that I've smithed on a bit, polish internals and a new breach port and extended probe bolt. Ain't KZbin great guys and girls! Thanks again and to the shooting community, FB groups have been great as a newer shooter and hunter. So nice cooking what I've harvested and use the knifes I've made to break them down for the table. 😀

Hi Rob, and welcome. Pellpax are show sponsors - we simply wouldn't be able to commit the time and effort to make a show of this quality without them - but we are allowed to choose which guns we use, and I think the Hortitsia is great. Mat, I'm trying to start Ratting & taking care of other pests around my property but cost & ease are issues... not sure on PCP versions for cost.. all the tanks & refilling.. but Co2 reduces power & loading is bad with break action... what's the solution? I'm going to buy the ATN x-sight 4k, but need something to shoot with. My Gamo break action 1400 FPS would do the trick but reloading at night would be a pain.. .what to buy? something I can mount scope, & other goodies??

So how do you shoot Magpies and pigeons in a forrest. How does this comply with the recent amended shooting laws ? Would appreciate if someone could explain as Im still confused . Also, when shooting I thought you always had to consider the back shots, so how is shooting up towards the sky at squirrels safe, if you miss and you dont know where the pellet will fall !!
@theshootingshow5 жыл бұрын
Pigeons and corvids can still be shot under general licence, and the rules are much the same as they have been for several decades. The terms set out in the general licences are not so much about where you can or can't shoot pest birds - the important thing is the problems they are causing. The pest control shown here meets the terms of the relevant general licences. Assuming that you live in England, relevant info can be found via the below web link. www.gov.uk/government/collections/general-licences-for-wildlife-management#birds As for shooting into trees, it is generally regarded as being safe with a sub-12ft/lb airgun but it is important to ensure that the fallout zone is over land where you have permission to shoot - if your pellet travels to neighbouring land where you don't have permission, you will be breaking the law. All the best. Mat

Hi Matt, I like watching you hunting, especially with the beautiful Hortitsia. But why are you shooting the red squirrels instead of just shooting the invasive grey squirrels and leaving the wood the the domestic red ones? Best wishes Martin Edit: It is a grey one, but with slightly darker colour. Thanks Myke!
@mykeready37425 жыл бұрын
Martin Skovby, Matt shot a grey. Definitely not a red. Some greys have a red tinge on their tails.
@martinskovby88565 жыл бұрын
Hi Myke, thank you for your answer! 👍 That squirrel looks very much red-brown for a grey one, but at a closer look it has the big head and no bushy ears. As to the colour, perhaps they adapt to their new home or maybe even mix with the red ones? 😉 Luckily we only have the red (and brown) ones over here in Denmark. 🍀👍 Best wishes Martin
@theshootingshow5 жыл бұрын
@@martinskovby8856 Hi Martin. I can assure you I only shoot grey squirrels, and reds are not present where I live - because of the greay. The two species can not interbreed. Colour is not a reliable way to distinguish between them as greys tend to take on a red tinge during summer and autumn here. Generally, reds are much smaller and have fluffy ears which appear to be long and pointed. All the best. Mat

Good to see pro's who know ha ha ,correct size round for a flatter RDA .being your breaking up your shape by camouflage ,you'd be helping yourself to scrimp bandage the rifle or a camouflage sock just to lose the sharp lines .obviously you use rifles from stock so you wouldnt want to mark it .good to see informative professional hunting instead of dangerous fools who think they are great hunters .what's your ultimate hunting pcp rifle ?
@Andrew-qn8fu5 жыл бұрын
I didn't think you could still shoot wood pigeon and corvids unless you were shooting them to protect crops? I hope I'm wrong as woodland wood pigeon shooting is the best hunting one can do with an air rifle.
