In norway it is custom to have the shotgun at a resting position, with the end of the stock below the elbow, as you say pull, as to simulate real unexpected hunting situations

Is it true that using 21grms 6s for crows, pigeons, pheasants, partridge is the best for 28 bore because it apparently shoots faster with a lighter and smaller gram cartridge? And if not what grams would you recommend for crows, pheasant, partridge and pigeons ?

You can shoot up to a 12 gauge and while you can shoot a side by side you wouldn't want to for OT

When you are ready to shoot, you call Pull and someone release the clay from the station

It works for me, you get your dominant eye lined up with the gun. Then you can choose what works for you, both eyes open or one shut

Ill tell yeah, you cant close both eyes on a shotgun keep both eyes open you'll hit more I PROMISE. Just a tip. If anyone disagrees, id love to hear why!

It is the generall rule, but it works for me to shoot with one eye shut. I tried both eyes open as well, not so good

Interesting video, but i really don't get why DTL/Trap shooters try to say pull differently - Can anyone shed some light?

It's because the trap is voice activated, a short 'pull' does not always work.

liambowers666 Both because of the sentivity of the microphones acting up once in a while, and for different stability reasons, the people saying pull over a longer time breathe more stabily , and thus might get better accuracy. Imo it might also be a way to disinguish yourself, like a personal marker

It's an over/under and it's open. It's just her and her people. That's not unsafe. If you're at a public range with a bunch of people and different style guns then you are correct, it just makes it easier to know that everyone is open and empty. It's not like she's going to drop the gun and it's going to close all the way, lock and then fire. No way.

I can do this with a air gun don't need bird shot I shoot mountain quail on the fly with a brake barrle air rifle still will get two and yes it's a single shot. Not hard she is a very good shot but every one just can't shoot that's why she's in the top class but there are people that have nasty skill ! Don't be content girl push your self and train with a single shot projectile keep your skill going don't ever stop!

call me when you can do this with a Kalashnikov shooting 39soviet and i will give you a pat on the head. to me all these air gun shooting and 22lr or whatever they shoot here and on olympics are just children's games it's a shame sports shooting got so divorced from it's combat roots
