Good chance of catching a cyclist from that mark👍 I remember some kids on the Gloucester canal managed to hook a passing boater🤭 on a set of treble hooks 😆. With a lot ofScreaming and effin and jeffing from the boater, the kids cut the line and ran of down the towpath 😆 Talk about the one that got away 😉

I found Blue Anchor a lovely place to fish when I was down that way. Unfortunately all I managed was doggies, but they kept me entertained anyway! Conditions look rough for the Daiwa Open at the weekend, but I’ll be giving it my best shot. If the beaches are too much like hard work, then I’ll probably try and find a mark in the Humber somewhere and pray the cod have moved up. Either way, I’ll be getting wrapped up nice and warm. They’re predicting 5 to 7 foot waves, so I might just lob a big crab bait out 40 yards on an 8oz lead and hope for a monster bass! Best laid plans and all that! £2000 top prize for biggest fish, but categories for whiting and flatties too. I’m still hopeful for a nice big ray to be honest! Either way, I’m going to enjoy being out there with my son, giving it our all. Great video as always Wayne, target achieved! No monsters, but that’s fishing! Next time could be a 30lber. As long as we enjoy it, that’s what makes it all worth while! PS, I hope you put a few pennies in the milk churn at the toilets 😉 keep up the great work buddy. See you next time 👊🏻

Blue Anchor is better in the dark as it's semi coloured water and good for bullhuss and conger, whiting, bass just pass the station. Be lucky from this ex Cheddar man.

Well done Wayne, great video again, have they painted double yellows all the way down Blue Anchor now? Chesil yesterday was super windy but got 13 Mackeral and a black bream, also picked up 4 rigs when winding in. Tight lines.😊😊😊😊

Great stuff mate. They have them where the carpark spaces are opposite, it's to stop people parking there all night in the summer. If you are asked to move or the carparks are full then you need to move. I hope that makes sense.

I'm disabled and would love to fish the Bristol channel..... from comments on here it seems like that spot is known as the blue anchor in minehead....is that correct ?... if anyone knows this location but doesn't want to tell the world, could you pm me...I'd be very grateful for some help as decent spots that I can fish from my van are rare and hard to find...tight lines all..

You don’t tell your viewers where you are fishing as a lot of people watching your videos . Besides saying I’m fishing the Bristol Channel or chesil beach or Norway. That doesn’t help angle to fish markers from your video. But you say other tips .
