Hi Bob definitely many more bass in the Bristol Channel than cod which is surprising for this time of year! I do like my winter cod fishing but the last few years has been pretty poor unfortunately! Happy new year to you! Cheers Ian

I have looked at tides and Wednesday 9th or Sunday 13th April have good tides and it’s around the time of the mega bass!!! Sunday tide a bit bigger with high at sunset but either would be good…. We don’t want a raging wind but we can pencil in both days and decide nearer the time depending on weather conditions 👍🎣

A very good question indeed!!! It’s been 6 years since we had a good run of fish up my way!!!😩 Chesil was good in September/October but the Bristol Channel has been awful this winter again!!! Thanks for watching cheers Ian
