@@JDTee79 I think the alcohol has permanently warped John's sense of self, so he thinks there's some sort of charming modesty to it. For the same reason he takes prescription pills live on air. Unfortunately for him, in reality, John's a charmless slob. It's why he asks the Stern-esque sex questions to every female guest and it always goes terribly. He & Stern are the living embodiment of that meme when the handsome guy compliments the female coworker and she says "aw you're sweet" and then a fat guy does the same thing and she says "OMG HR!?"
