Sitting in a truck is horrible for health, as is slinging boxes. Id love to see this union president be more realistic about these jobs being automated (especially long haul driving ) and convincing ups and the federal to pay the younger more junior ups workers to transition to more longstanding work (cover everything related to their family expenses etc while they go to to trade school and transition over, etc. the older ups and truck drivers can be paid to retire early just as you would pay out workers when your business closes. @@doughboy5858 essentially he makes his money by keeping the “we verse them” mentality in place. When in reality automating the long Gaul trucking and box slinging portions of jobs would be amazing for thr members because he can rather negotiate a bargaining where their would be transferred over to local delivery(which yes would remain human, ran which is good because they serving the community they live in going home to their family every night) thus, with more drivers available reducing the route loads. He could pitch yhis in a way that benefits his members but instead he is fueling by claiming he can actually prevent it from happening, when he cant. I forget if it was Ludlow or a different one but there was one striking laborer incident where soldiers straight up rolled in with a wheeled machine gun emplacement and opened fire. and then there's The Pinkertons, who still exist to this day and continue to harm labor power using clandestine methods. My advice to you is to call or write to the hospital administrator and ask how many patients were assigned to your nurse and how many patients were assigned to your nursing aide...hospitals maintain short staffing of RNs because it saves them money but it goes against the clinical evidence that shows the dramatic increase in mortality when an RN has more than 6 patients. The aides are often assigned 15+ patients. Make it clear that poor staffing affected your care, if that is the case. You can also ask your RN how many patients they have. I took care of the sickest patients during Covid & left for a surgical center where I had fewer patients & could give the care they deserve..many RNs have left hospitals for this reason. And who wants to cut overtime pay. Somehow they are for the working class. He's a fucking joke.

Im a diehard JRE fan. When I subscribed to his podcast on KZbin he had barely half a million subscribers about 12 years ago. Still love JRE but Theo in the last year reminds me of the old JRE when he had a crazy variety of guests and many that weren't popular. First time i saw Theo was in 2016 on fighter and the kid so I've been following his career for almost a decade. It's inspiring to see him go from mostly solo podcast talking about random stuff and working his way through his horrendous childhood to become one of the most popular people on Earth and seems to be the most genuine and well liked person in the business
