John Kordic was a great human being. Met him several times back in the day when my Dad took me to watch the Habs play Canucks. After the games spent a lot of time with us before the team left in the team bus . With my Dad and John Talking in there native language Croatian. Kordic was a great person and a gentle giant!

Not really that cool. The Good Friday game (which celebrated it's 40th anniversary last month - not sure why Tony didn't do a show about that instead of this) had more excitement and the Habs won that game. After this brawl, the Flyers pounded the Habs and eliminated them.

I went to the game before this game. Corson and Lemieux stayed until everyone had left the ice and then shot the puck into the empty Flyers net to the cheers of the crowd. Then the next game the Flyers dressed a bunch of goons for the warmup who weren't going to be in the lineup anyway and let them start a brawl.

They got no grip and height and Chris Simon was the number one tough guy

I remember Roy stunk against Nordiques. Why Hayward replaced him. I remember the next time they played. Hextall tried take Chelios head off.

Yeah, he was going after Chelios for Chelios trying to elbow Brian Propp's head into the 3rd row. Roy was incredible in the 89 series against the Flyers, but the 87 season, he was extremely inconsistent in the playoffs.
