Smaller players are more likely to break down over a long playoff run. However, if you build a team that can roll 4 lines so nobody is forced to play too many minutes, this issue can be mitigated. I think that's part of Montreal's long term plan.

FYI, Vancouver, Tampa, Florida & Boston have no 1st & 2nd draft picks at all this draft year ..... Can the Habs make a deal with one of these teams... for the 1st pick or the Winnipeg pick??? I can smell a [ three Habs picks /players ] for one player trade ....

These people bitching about size. You got guys 5'7-5'11 170-200 lbs who are built like brick shithouses and can crush coconuts wth their thighs! More then enough 6ft 200+ players that play like "smurfs" Sorry but will always take the size of the fight in the dog than the size of the dog.

Bingo! So tired of hearing "we gotta get bigger" like it's a friggin' religious mantra. Talent and how the guy plays (e.g. Brendan Gallagher) is what counts. There are plenty of big guys who play like wimps.

Habs d is large on average ... habs forwards are small on average and lack grit.... meaning they are soft.....The league makes an account of hits/bodychecks given ... Montreal in below the average of the NHL in hits given ... our hall of fame coach does not like hitting ... IT IS bad manners for him ... wrong concept .....B.S......

I know it’s hard to know every player’s measurements by heart, but Eric Wyatt Johnston is 6’2. Heiskanen is 6’2. Seguin is 6’1. Dallas is big, man. Really big. Stankoven is basically their only smurf

"Wyatt Johnston is not big..." *he is 6'2" So is Heiskanen btw...not sure why Eric is naming 'small' guys on Dallas ho are all not small like Gally, RHP, Cole, Newhook, Hutson, Mesar, Farrell etc...

Half those guys were never regulars in the lineup. Couple of them never will be. Another couple will be pushed out. Many many many larger players in the lineup

Demidov is the pick if available and the big guy otherwise. Either the big D trade 2 picks for the one gets you him.

I.M.O. if the Habs do not find Demidov or Lindstrom at their 1st pick, The Habs will trade away [ that pick + a D-man ] for an established top 6 forward. FYI, Vancouver, Tampa, Florida & Boston have no 1st & 2nd draft picks at all this draft year .....

Really Tony?? McD should win the Cup? Who cares given it is all about the best team. Carey deserved to win the Cup, was he not the best player? Shea deserved to win the Cup, was he not one of the best? Ciccarelli, Housley and Dionne never won the Cup and were they not the best players? They all without a doubt deserved to win a Cup however this is pro sports. The best team wins and if McD doesn't win he falls into the same category as those I have mentioned above. C'est la vie, c'est le sport! Lets move on an talk about the draft. GO HABS GO!!!

There is no way a Def goes in the top 3, rarely happens and the teams above know better, MTL doesnt.
