Wow, he nails what it's like in the corporate world. I graduated near the top of my class, but along the way I earned an internship at a Blue Chip. This opened doors to nothing but Blue Chips and these are where you are to be steered, but only as wallpaper, not really climbing in your career. If you aren't the raving caracutures they expect, you won't be advancing, and as incentives became financial they have flooded in black women in particular which compete with you, not just because they are using skin color, but the mentality they are looking for. Those that advance are in newly created positions that suddenly lack requiring any spread sheet skills. Even below average performers are moved into management over you. So, in the end, no one is better off when wokeness erodes a business, trumps merit & competence.

I work in film... About 6 years ago I started having positive conversations where I planted a crap ton of doubt 😂 On numerous topics I just couldn't stay quiet! But I definitely love this technique! Getting them to actually think these ideas through is hard but pays off most of the time. I have ppl from a show I did a year ago call me up to say begrudgingly that I was right. Kept 3 sets of parents from putting their 10-14 year Olds on puberty blockers ... It's painful and slow but it's definitely better than keeping quiet!

Three separate parents? That is truly insanity that so many people have nearly done so much damage. I live in southern CA and have woken up plenty of people from general leftist dogma but it can take years. I mainly try and just ask them questions about their views so they have to support it logically without just name calling their opponents. I typically point out where they are wrong and provide them evidence and then they resist and want to change the subject. I probably make too many statements though, which might slow down the process and cause the backfire effect.

@@147salsa - I can relate. It was a personal growth step for me to discern much quicker how a conversation with a ranting Woke person was going nowhere fast. Why waste time with someone not listening, not engaging in dialog ( two people conversing, not only one preaching ), and not respecting my voice in the matter. I have asked questions, though not enough. Yes, I leaned more on counter-points, "evidence" and stats, but maybe it planted a seed or two of doubt. Keep up the good work!

I VERY MUCH AGREE. Better than keeping quiet. Good to know that someone in "The Industry" does speak up and contribute to true Diversity. ( Amazing how superficial the Left can be in terms of just hiring enough "colors" and "sexes" makes for "diversity". It was when I immersed within the Left that the Diversity they were talking about was just a thinly veiled version of the Right that only wanted versions of their own thinking and no one else. Great video! Interestingly, I started doing this out of laziness. I knew all the data, but I got tired of doing other stubborn friends' homework for them. I would spend hours learning about a topic, reading about it, looking at data, and talking to people only to discover that I was always faced with emotional reactions to something a person "felt" was true (that they held with some strange confidence). Maybe they saw someone on TV making the claim or heard it from their college prof. So instead of trying to convince them of a different thing, I adopted a mindset of simply planting seeds. Something that would inspire a person to look more into the topic (like the number of whatever race shot by police), to do their own homework ... late at night when they are bored and don't feel like they are in a debate. A time when there are no "I told you so's" or lost face. A good byproduct of this is that they may learn something I didn't know and share it with me ... Instead of just regurgitating what I told them to someone else like they originally did to me. Now we both have more to chew on.

I like the tools that Peter is supplying. One problem, I have watched a lot of his videos where he is speaking to people (including Ivy League students who are supposed to be bright) and they very often will not allow for any circumstances or conditions or new information to change their positions. I am reminded of a Mark Twain quote, "It is easier to fool a person than convince them they have been fooled." That quote may be very applicable to the way people get their information it also points to the fact that most people are unwilling to be swayed by facts.

This approach can be learned by reading "Never split the difference" by Chris Voss which is the book about hostage negotiation that he took these ideas from such as calibrated questions etc. It's a very good negotiation book that can be used in basically any context as this video shows.

I work at a big pharma, director level. I'm absolutely desperate to discuss this in more depth. I honestly don't believe people understand just how bad things are. My colleague, with an outstanding 22 year performance, generating incredible growth and demonstrating outstanding leadership, missed out on his biggest promotion (director for Europe) because he missed one diversity module. But it was really because he's a white guy. The company made 18 executive moves last year, all were non-whites.

When the company suddenly started scheduling time wasting bridge building, they didn't say they were trying to get people to break an unwritten rule: no politics or religion talk at work. This was their excuse to do nothing but talk all day, but I would simply ask them, "you do see me?", this company hires plenty of blacks. They literally say, "not you, you're not really black." I say I am, what do you mean??? Well, you're mixed with something. I am not. And look at them. "You are the minority on the floor. Lololol!" (I point to the bay where almost every cubicle is a black woman). Crickets. How does this end? Suddenly they all need to be somewhere. They simply never answered me and I jacked up many because they liked to spend so much time in the break room, right next to my desk. Even where my desk was was a show for anyone getting off the lift.

This was hard for me to watch. Peter, if you read this, there's something you need to know. The Blue Yeti is a side-address microphone. Talking into the top of it makes your voice sound tinny and slightly distorted. Also, it's backwards, In the cardioid pattern (which is what you should be using if you're alone in a single room) the Blue logo should be parallel to your face. The sound quality will be a lot better if you do that.

Totally fascinating conversation and illuminating. This explains perfectly when I, over the covid period, very politely said to hundreds of different people, that I've read well over 150 clinical trials on mask efficacy and all the best ones (RCTs with meta analysis) say they don't work at all to stop any airborne virus, it had zero effect. Even doctors and nurses. I went out of my way to try to tell people because I thought they would want to know this, but everyone would either change the subject or defend mask wearing with some bizarre, illogical low level evidence point. This video absolutely confirms my suspicions I had about a year ago coming through that weird period. Self realisation needs to come from the self, it can't be forced down people's throats. But, the question whether people can actually change their mind on something is a good one because I think with all the tactics that Peter has put forward, and God bless his patience, some people will never, ever, ever change their stance on something.

I've got a lot of respect for both of ya for carrying the torch of truth. One question though, I believe the study most people cite to argue there is no police shooting bias is the Roland Fryer study, which also shows that there is a bias in the use of non lethal force. There's a couple others I've noticed. The Johnson one that got a lot of criticism and was retracted, I believe by the author himself. Either way, I think I can probably count on one hand, maybe one finger, the number of high quality studies on this question controlling for confounding variables like the Fryer one. My question to you is, do you find this is to be adequate evidence to justify actionable confidence in the conclusion that police do not disproportionately use lethal force against people of color (when confounding variables are accounted for), or do you remain agnostic?
