Can confirm that Izzy is a brilliant fit in the, yes, decidedly 'ocker' environment of the Triple M commentary box. Holds her own very well, a nice occasional island of sanity in the ocean of Australian madness brought by the James Brayshaws of the world.

Triple M is a bit partisan but not excessively. They like good cricket and were very happy to celebrate the Indian performances.

100%! Izzys call when Boland was ripping through England was just sensational and she was as animated and loud as any of the lads….if not quite as crass!! Is he has won a lot of fans in Australia.

Perry was a sixteen-year-old schoolgirl when she made the women's top team. Caoimhe Bray a JUST turned 15-year-old when she played in WBBL 6er's team. They are around older experienced players who encourage and help them along with team coaches, improve their game to even higher standards than they are at, at the young age they come into top teams. Perry wasn't picked for T'20s for some time. Went away, worked on it, improved, back in the team. Jonassen not in team for several games the past year, still a top-level bowler but others are better at the moment. Hard decisions are made for the betterment of the team. Your name is just a name, your work ethic and form are why you are picked in the Aust team. Several England players would be hard pressed to make the Aust first team let alone the Aust A team, and to my eye don't give their all at times. Jogging one instead of running two or taking two instead of pushing for three. They seem to think they are automatic picks some of them and let's be honest there are very few waiting in the wings or have been given a chance to be in the team and improve under better coaching.

I went to the first T20 game at the SCG. England didn’t look as sharp as Australia in the field. The Aussies were practicing there fielding in the break. They seemed to want it more.

Please tell Izzy that she is the best thing to happen during an Australian summer and she's always welcome back here❤

But Izzy,it’s not about body shape, it’s about fitness . If that means a few pounds or ounces are lost and agility found as a result then so be it. Love your input and commentary 👍

As an Australian fan, I would have preferred England were better. It would be incredible to have a competitive women’s Ashes. Australia seems a tough place for touring teams.

The bounce in Australia is a lot higher and they need to adjust to that. The english spinners seem to not giving it more air and seem to be firing it down leg side.

Australia has better depth than England, just look who wasn't playing in the last T20, no healy, no Gardner, no molineux, all injured, and England still lost!!
