Anyone else surprised The Simpsons hasn't made any sort of reference to "Five Nights At Freddy's" yet? Even after the movie last year? Maybe next year, they might do a THOH segment based on it. Could be, just throwing out ideas, an old Krusty Burger location with Itchy & Scratchy animatronics, and when Bart or Homer take the night-watchman job, they come to life and start killing people. But yeah, I was kinda disappointed this year, though the intro was WILD, and almost makes up for it overall. And believe me, as a Texan: I get it. Thankfully, Election Day is tomorrow, I already voted weeks ago, and I _will_ be wearing my "I Voted For Kodos" shirt (even though it's too small for me now).

They have done episodes with animatronics before, the itchy and scratchy land animatronics and there is an episode with Chucky cheese style animatronics (I forget which one it is), but I don’t think they have done it in tree houses of horror so it would be interesting to see.

No, Kevin Micheal Richardson has never voice Venom, even though I think this episode proves that he should. I will add that after looking into all the Venom voice actors, it turns out he was voiced by Hank Azaria in the 90’s Spider-Man cartoon. And he’s voiced by Tony Todd (Candyman) in the PS5 game.

I kind of enjoyed this year's THOH, although, it wasn't as good as the last two. Denim was by far the best. The ending was a twist I didn't expect. And that opening, what genius. Jorge's animation opening and the Thanksgiving segment was the only real highlights of the special for me. The Political Pacific Rim segment was way too cringe despite its interesting robot fight and I wasn't particularly interested in the Venom Jeans parody since I'm indifferent towards the movies, though I'll admit how the stop motion alien jean looked pretty decent.

This year's Treehouse of Horror was... okay. I agree with you when it comes to the Pacific Rim parody. This was one of the more weaker political joke focused tales. However, I liked the Thanksgiving tale a lot more. The design for the ghosts were really good and it had Burns getting a comeuppance. To me, Denim... eh... I mean, it was slightly better than the Spider-Man parody they did a few years back, but only a little. I feel like that's going to be memorable only for the stop motion pants. Like how Homer³ was only memorable because of the first time we saw a 3D Homer and Bart. Considering how Hurricane Neddy was more remembered for Ned's snapping tirade, the callback to that narrow hallway bot was pretty funny and not overused like the bush meme. I mean, it's a freaking Chia Pet, now. What the hell... You're gonna recount ALL of them? You are a mad woman. God bless you and I wish you the best. 🙂

Homes³ is also remembered for the adult cakes gag, the "this is a square" gag, the bart reassuring his mother only for Homer's last words to echo through the house gag, and I personally will never forget that Homer destroys an entire dimension by angry kicking a rand9m cone.

I will admit, I did like this Simpsons Treehouse of Horror a lot, but it wasn't as good as the recent ones from 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023. Those Treehouse of Horror episodes had something that is still talked about mostly. 2020, the episode where Lisa and Nelson kept dying in brutal ways until they overcame it. 2022, the plot twist that The Simpsons are robots, and 2023 the Silence Of The Lambs parody where Lisa got revenge on Sideshow Bob to name a few examples. This year's edition was good, but I was left wanting a bit more in my honest opinion. Hopefully next year we can get another crazy chaotic Simpsons Treehouse of Horror, and I will say that Couch Gag was pretty cool and unique.

The first segment fell flat and with the election here tomorrow in the US at the time that I’m able to write this comment as a Patreon, I am beyond sick of political humor at this point also! If I never hear one more political commercial ever again, it will be the happiest day of my life! That being said, I also agree with you that The Simpsons did have some funny jokes in here and there. I especially liked the donut one! I personally didn’t hate the second segment, but I do understand entirely your point of view. Perhaps I enjoyed it a little bit more because I wasn’t familiar with the source material so I thought it was kind of a cool way to do a period piece. Like you, the ghosts were my favorite part. Denim the third segment was beyond brilliant! I was laughing so hard that I my sides were hurting! The blending of the two animation styles was phenomenal. Everyone that worked on this deserves an Emmy and it’s a crime if they don’t get one! Also as a huge Spider-Man fan, I loved the source material that they chose to parody and I was thinking the whole time. The only thing that would make this better is if they were able to get either Tom Hardy or Topher Grace to guest voice for the segment. Flawless job to you and James as always! I can’t believe that you’re going to redo the entire kill count next year, that’s one of my all-time favorite videos of yours when you did it the first time and I can’t imagine the amount of undertaking that it takes so thank you very, very much in advance!

Jorge's opening animation and Venom parody were the only highlights of this disappointing entry. They blew a perfectly good Pacific Rim parody (that should have been parodied years ago) on toothless both sides-ism "satire." They blew the opportunity worse than their Godzilla parody that devolved into whining about the American versions. While I absolutely love Kevin Michael Richardon, Hank Azaria really should have played Denim, as Hank played Venom/Eddie Brock in the 90's Spider-Man series. I do like how it was an original enough story that didn't directly parody the movies. Seems like they took more inspiration directly from the comics. Though I was disappointed they didn't have Denimized Homer jump into a lobster tank. Personally, I find the actual Venom movies funnier (in a sliding scale of intentional to unintentional), but the highlight segment of the episode. Though, I must admit, the fact the other symbiotes are weakened by acid (SPOILERS) ...hits different if you've seen the last movie and how it ends.

I just saw it on Disney+/Hulu combo. My favorite of the stories was "The Fall of the House of Monty". Burns as always sucks in this episode, Groundskeeper Willie won fair and square (with nice pinkie action 😤🤤😂) for the workers to have a Thanksgiving feast and what does Burns do, just released a trap door to drops said feast down to dangerous feet that kills Moe because he wanted peas, well Karma really bit him in the ass this time with the Haunting of the late workers because Homer was so hungry he fell into the corn syrup in which the vat broke and released a very hot corn syrup tsunami that killed the workers. Look I'm an AroAce but I find Groundskeeper Willie to be snackalicious and when the Groundskeeper Willie ghost grabbed Burns in the tub and yelled "Jump Scare", I actually said "Huh, Groundskeeper Willie in the tub, I had the dream when I was in highschool except he wasn't dead and a ghost" 🤣😂🤣😂 I mean the Denim story is funny but I'm not a Venom fan. So it's basically 2nd favorite at best. Edit: Sorry about the chunky text Edit 2: Hold up Hold Up, You're telling me that the stop motioned Denim is done by Stoopid Buddies Studios. Holy Crap no way! 🤯 Edit 3: I just saw some symbiote overalls, does that mean that Groundskeeper Willie is the human host of those?

I already written a blog exactly what I think about it. I will confirm Denim was also my favorite among them. My least favorite actually The Information Rage. Considering everyone in Springfield is two faced. It was kinda predictable how everything played out. I actually enjoyed Fall of the House of Burns myself. A quite scary segment with some impressive stuff. It's not the best neither the worst among those episodes. I could easily rewatch this episode.

I'm surprised Denim didn't have any kills given its inspiration, but I guess he only needs to be worn to survive unlike the voracious Venom. Maybe someday you can do a kill count on the canon timeline? It would be interesting to see how many characters have died in the show's run, and how many were undone later.
