Tip for when trying to put the egg stack in the fridge and they wouldn’t go, it usually means there’s a spoiled one (or more) in the stack… if you delete the spoiled ones then the stack should go in like normal…

Your door is technically unlocked because you set it that way so the pets can still come in. The only people locked out are the other Household Members. Visitors still have full access and there is no way to restrict them without locking the door for everyone but household/your Sim. You could always get the doggie door as a work around, so the pets can still come in and leave.

I would LOVE modular wall designs. Like you pick your base color/pattern and then can add trim separately to the top/bottom, and even half wall paneling. It would make adding accent walls so much easier by still allowing all the trim in a room to match.

I have found that if I enter multiple things (ie. Llama AND wool) it only gives me a prize for one. Obviously a bug, but in the future maybe try only entering one? (In this case the wool may have won on its own)

This is what I found too! The wool definitely would have won. Llamanade could have won too, but I think James forgets that giving his llama a treat to change his wool to something rare is a big factor in winning. The competing llamas don't seem colourful, but the notifications show what they really look like. Beige ain't as cool as blue, sorry James.

I think you only locked Chaz’s bedroom door for the family members with “lock specifically for sim…” so that the dogs can come into the room. So technically the door is unlocked for everyone but only locked for Trenton, Hazel and the kids. 🤣

I think I heard that the quality of your items aren't judged against other contestants, but overall in general. So the game thought your cow and your relationship with it was 3rd place quality in general. (But also the fairs are just broken as hell)

I think the game culls relationships after a while so that may be why you don't know people you've met. Only way I've seen it fixed is using MC command center to prevent relationship culling

Chaz has a chicken in his inventory? One of the other sims has a rose in their inventory. Plant it. Roses sell for a lot more than other crops.

If you have golden chickens who can golden pulse things, they can also golden pulse all kinds of other things. I placed a meal on the table and a chicken turned it into excellent quality. They will even golden pulse their own eggs to make them max quality. Just put them on the ground near a golden chicken and wait. They even golden pulse crafted items.

Spoiled eggs an not be put in the fridge. If some of the eggs in the stack are gone off then you can not move the stack. Remove the spoiled eggs and then you can move the stack to the fridge.

When you can’t add eggs to refrigerator it’s because one or more are spoiled. Always check your stack for spoilage.

I think since their house is empty, you should be able to pop into the ROM household and place some money fruit around the lot. That way when you go renovate, you can sell one or two to get a boost to the budget and really be able to do the rooms up the way you want. 😊

I've done a lot of fairs in this game and the only one I can win is the overgrown crop fair. You have to use the largest size watermelon and go with the biggest one you have, and you should win and only enter the one event. I've never lost with the watermelon

James! I hope you see this. The way I always win the Fair is by leveling up the Cooking Skill, buying the Stoves and Grills Master trait, using my own produce and cooking an IMPECCABLE pie (I tend to cook the chocolate pie or the pumpkin pie and I always get the same results). Hope this helps.
