I hate the group chat so much. It totally destroys date nights in public places, and interrupts conversations you need to have in situations like Strangerville investigations. So I'm using the Less Musical Chairs, No Group Chat mod, originally by Shimrod, updated by LittleMsSam last year. Ahhhhh. One conversation at a time. So much better.

@@Nina-nh5pp Yeah, here it is three years later, and it's STILL a problem. Also that old mod I was using back then doesn't work as well anymore, after however many dozens of game patches. So now I have another mod that has a Just Go Away function that lets you click on a sim and they'll leave the lot instantly. AHHHHH. Peace. haha

Of you're off grid, you need a satellite phone (and some kind of generator to charge the batteries). But I'm pretty sure you can't text with them, so that bit is not so realistic I don't think... I wish you could make smoke signals or use conches to signal people or something. XD Also, I wish they would make a Sims 4 Castaway pack or game. But more realistic than the original Sims 2 version.

1.)You can cook the taro root you've got on the pit. 2.)There are seed packets in normal build/buy (no cheats). 3.)I now live in an alternative universe were Lady BigWallet II has bought controlling rights in an oil firm (possibly called Seagulls and Moneytrees Inc) to spite her hippie parents, as being a famous actress brings in no good regular income and having sorta reconciled with them at the end of the last season of Rags to Riches, she's now fallen straight back into the old arguments about how they don't see how much they emotionally neglected her growing up ("What are you talking about? It was lovely in the spooky barn room. Your sister's got a studio there now. She loves it. We could've stuck you in Richie's room with the tacky kiddie's wallpaper, but we didn't..."). So now as part of her profiteering venture she is attempting to exploit Sulani's natural resources. She doesn't live there. She doesn't care what happens to the place. It's all board room meetings and sweet sweet money money for her. Meanwhile secret-enviromentalist Banana is so horrified by this that she's cast off all her family's fame and fortune, gotten herself disinherited and come to the island with nothing to try and save it singlehandedly from the greedy clutches of her own mother('s company). Will she succeed? Will her mother see reason or will Banana cave and crawl home to her creature comforts? Will there be cake? Will Brussels ever find a boyfriend and experience truwe lurve? Will his twin succeed in her underground scientific experiments to genetically modify purple rats? Will Trash (Banana's other big sister) ever get picked up off the beach? Find out (some of that. Possibly) on Rags to Riches: Island Living! Face it. It's better on the dark side.

Ravynn Wolf that’s strange... I’ve actually never experienced any glitches or whatever problems with sims 4 until this recent patch, but then when I reinstalled my mods the problems I was having are gone, like the floor tiles disappearing, random extreme lag in game/build mode, Kava parties and festivals not working etc all went away after I put back MCCC, slice of life, I don’t know why or how but that seemed to fix the issues lol only thing I still have just a little bit is random lag in game mode but it isn’t extreme lag like before. When I was experiencing all those issues I also had started a fresh save and zero mods or cc as always when a new patch comes out lol and I was going to avoid using mods altogether, and limit my use of cc, which also made no difference with the lag lol. Makes no sense that now it’s 100% fine after putting my usual mods back in and then my ridiculous amount of CC back into the game didn’t make my game return to super lag lol. This game truly makes no sense lol. But hey whatever, so long as my mods work I’m happy. Only way I could play this half ass game :( lol

If you find where the shells generate - they’ll keep stacking up shells until they’re picked up. I’ve gotten as many as 10 at one time. There are a couple on the main island. A good spot is on one of those tiny islands beyond your cafe and oil rig. There’s also a kava plant on one of them.
