Maybe you could add a few more of the trailers, like one for the kids and one for Lady's office/workspace, around the lot to make it look like a caravan or trailer park until Lady earns enough for a huge mansion. You could have an outside communal patio area with a bbq and a table, maybe have the trailers set up in a U shape with this in the middle, along with decorations, etc. One thing I always do in my games is designate someone as the black market scientist for times like these. Have them make potions and sell them on a retail lot (usually under a pub or something as cover) where my other families can go buy them to feed them to the Sims they don't like. Saves time and works better story-wise.

Personally, I see her either being taken the ultra-modern route, or an antique decor route fitting of someone with the name Lady. It will probably end up the former, although I would prefer the latter.

Oh, something else I seriously dislike is how they require you to research the angry emotion and then it just destroys your reputation. Like seriously, wtf. The good news is it's not all that hard to get it back ... just be friendly to a bunch of sims and become friends with them. But still, it's pretty BS that would require you to do something that hurts your rep.

@@carolynnegould5540 That's great and all, but we really shouldn't need to look for a workaround that just doesn't happen to affect rep. Technically speaking if a famous person wrote an angry blog post, they would get bad reputation for that just as much if they did it to someone else. It's just inconsistent and dumb. You should be able to research emotions simply by acting with another sim to where it doesn't affect their actual relationship. Much like how you can act a action scene and fight in it and be fine. It just seems absurd that the career wants you to actually do bad things to research the angry emotion. I mean the same is true of the flirty emotion as well. It's just annoying because then it requires you to do romantic crap with other people just for the sake of doing it. Again, it should be just an acting option. Anyway, that's just my 2 cents.

So if you don't do it in public, I don't think it effects your rep. I just brought my sim to Vlad's house and started arguing with him. Pretty sure I didn't lose rep over it and quickly got up to pristine just by greeting fans and all that.

It's like I would get these random texts of a person hating on me because they heard about it somehow ... and it would lower my rep even more. And the crazy thing is ... rep decreases super fast compared to increasing. You can ruin your entire rep in a matter of minutes if you are not careful.

Something I don't particularly like about Get Famous is ... compared to painting you still don't earn that much as an actor/actress. I really expected the amount you make the further you get into the career to be massive, especially once you are at the top. In terms of job pay, I feel like the Sims 4 is all over the place and just doesn't make any sense. How do they come up with these numbers?

A big issue with the career in particular is you always have to wait 3 days in between gigs. It's stupid. It would have been fine if there were other things you do for those gigs in the mean time. Like live events like a premier after you are done filming. Or before the filming you do advertising of some sort. Go on talk shows. Things like that.

Yes! My sim is a proper celebrity but even with a partner in another career, they can't afford to get anywhere near the pinnacles yet. But I couldn't leave them in mirage park either, so I built them an "apartment" where ward park was on the boulevard. They should be actually rich by now, but waiting between gigs and relatively low payouts makes that impossible.

Right? And not to mention the acting career seems to be a bit bugged. My Sim is a level 10 actress, maxed out the acting skill, is a 5 star celebrity, completes every single prep task, always gets gold in performance AND has the perk that's supposed to double her pay check...and she still only ever makes the max amount of money listed in the gigs (usually around 6500 or so). Like WTF? She only has around 50k so she can't afford to live in the Pinnacles even though for all intents and purposes, she's a much bigger and more successful celebrity than any of the pre-made Sims who live there.

@@bucketofsunshine6366 Ya, it honestly disappointed me when I reached the top. Level 10 actress and max fame. You really don't earn a whole lot more either at the top, which is crazy. I checked the gigs and it was pretty much the same gigs from what I could tell with about the same payout. I tried switching who I was under to see if they had different gigs and while they did ... nothing all that amazing either. Just same kinds of stuff. Really the only good thing I like about the celeb thing is the perks. You can even have the things you make sell for more, so it's probably going to make painting even more lucrative than it already was. Which is crazy. All well I guess. As an artist in real life, it's nice for the painting career to be the one to give you tons of money, but it's honestly just too easy. You could literally start a rags to riches game and be well off in just a few days simply by painting often. It's dumb. Edit: Yet all the work to become the best actress, you make peanuts in comparison lol.

Yeeees... This is actually really cathartic to see, after having Thorne cause my Sim's death. And yeah, getting into the Angry emotion is very difficult if you're more than even a little bit Happy. Clicking on yourself to "Research Angry Emotion" will give you only a +2 Angry Moodlet, but getting more Angry Moodlets is kind of hard, if you don't want to ruin your reputation through bad conversations (which you kind of did, poor Mr. Landgraab lol) But if you DO get Angry and want to complete that Prep task, DON'T do mean socials to do it, unless you want to ruin your Rep. Just do object-based Angry interactions like kicking Trash bins or calming self in mirror (though you only get credit for the task if you cancel it before you stop being angry).

The way I got my sim to get the angry emotion tab filled was by not taking a shower after working out (or just earning other negative moods like hungry or sore) and then I got a Blarfy to yell at so it doesn't effect my reputation. At least I don't think it effects my reputation. Hope this helps! In love with this series btw. 😊
