Not sure if that's how it works, but from my experience you get more of the splintered flowers like Orchids if you evolve them to a higher level. Last time I played I tried so hard to get one of those cow flower seeds and it never came until I tried really hard to evolve that splintered flower by fertilizing it and talking to it and generally taking care of it every day. Maybe it works that way, maybe not. Just sharing my experience. =D

I heard you have to harvest spliced plants every day. Since there is only a limited amount of slots where the flowers can spawn. So you need to make sure those slots are never full with other flowers.

It was either that you have to harvest it every day or harvest it only after several days because the spliced plant you were trying to get takes more time to grow (this has happened in my personal saves)

Yeah, once the spliced plant has bloomed for the day, it needs to be harvested or nothing new will grow on it. And "Super Sell" is a great way to check if you've got the ultra-rare spliced flower: just hover over the option and see if it's in the massive list of harvestables that shows up.

I found the only way to get orchids and birds of paradise was either from the Romance Festival and Spice Festival (when they're in season) or by purchasing either the Seasonal, Uncommon or Rare seed packets. Grafting is just impossible right now.

Omg check and see if you have a high enough skill level to buy the rare seed packets! Maybe once you reach level 10 of flower arranging and achieve all the flowers (orchids/birds of paradise) then you can start the new gardening job! And flower arranging can be just a way to make extra money!

Sims 4 is nearly at the end of its 4 year life span and so, the first ever Sims 5 expansion pack shall start with the Bigwallets gen 7 or 8 then counting. I hope we see the glitches and random bear suits that Deli sometimes gives to the Bigwallets who are clearly living up to their last name.

It doesn’t make a lot of sense at the moment with the bedrooms, but when the rooms are more full, it makes sense to have them against a wall as you get way more space. As for the garden, I want to keep a lot of grass open to have a nice lawn, I don’t want to take it all up with random items :)

James, I read that it just takes time with grafting. All plants will grow 10 fruits so the spliced plants should in theory produce 3 of each flowers it just takes a while until all 10 apparently. And every time you harvest it resets the timer

Naming the child after Lady, is paying some true homage and bloody brilliant. I would suggest using that spare room off the kitchen for like their family Hub area. Here in the States is called Family room/Den. The L.R. closer to the front door could be more like the formal living room. You would use it as you already are, for holidays and parties, but the one closer to the kitchen can be used as their go-to for movies, game night, violin practice, homework Etc

24:58 The dupe bug can be fixed by removing the item from the inventory when the action is queued up and attaching the item to the action as a variable. If the action fails or is cancelled, the item can be added back to the inventory otherwise it is deleted. The other way to fix it is to check if the item exists at the time of the action, and fail the task assigned (along with related tasks).

Suggestion for the dining room area. You could put the dining table into the empty space and then turn the area where the table is currently into a sun room/conservatory. Add some chairs, maybe a yoga mat or a bar etc.

If you go to any of the events in the town, like Romance Festival in particular, there is a chance to get Birds of Paradise growing in the planters in the event. Hopefully this helps!
