People keep saying 'well the point of a business is to make money'. No the point of a SCAM is to make money by any means necessary, a scam is okay with underwhelming product as long as they can shill it to someone. The point of a legit bussiness is to create and maintain a product or service people WANT to BUY, which is why free to play leads to this problem. It shows a lack of confidence in creating a product or service people WANT to pay for outright cause its just that good. If you focus on good product with value to the consumer, the money makes itself without the goal being to 'make money'.

They should have an option where you can lower the brightness up and down for all players so it can be useful for the ones who play the game often (getting headaches from the bright screen). Also wish we can change the background of CAS/ menu to our liking. Ex: Someone could have a green background but grey menu (if that makes sense)

This, definitely. I hate the new menu, sorry. It reminds me of subscription based or microtransaction based games which is NOT a good thing. If this wasn't EA, whoever approved this should have had been immediately fired and never allowed to work on the game again. One way or another, depressingly enough, I think we will just have to get used to living with this menu or use mods because.. Well, yeah.

The upcoming update feels like years' worth of content since the game was released. Having so much content in one update shows how much they've held onto these things. I think they're not doing this because they care about their players. They are doing this because they now have competition-not genuine. Also, the base game homes will benefit new players only. I NEVER use base game homes. I build my own. It just feels too late, and that's because it is.

I think its gorgeous It looks more like the older sims 4 menu’s to me it feels more alive so i think the design is really pretty (i am not going to talk about micro transactions that’s on ea and they know they are in a weak position so that will just be thier dumb fault) but that’s my opinion. 😊

The job of a business is to make money and to figure out the very best way to do that. I am unsurprised that the Sims 4 is going down this route, but it's annoying. Honestly, I wish the Sims would just focus on fixing and/or upgrading the game somehow.

The menu is a complete disaster. It's sad that because EA is EA, they wouldn't fire anyone responsible for it, and they want to _celebrate_ this instead. That's no reason for celebration - If anything, you get all the reason to only play with mods from now on. I'm never playing without something like TwistedMexi's CleanUI ever again, _if_ they update that mod to support this new version.

TS3 had the store, on a website, which were microtransactions for a piece of content, i feel were getting the same but in the menu launcher instead . Im not being dramatic because sims were cash grabby since TS1 . I really like the new menu tho .
