Lovely! A suggestion, can you add in the bumper cutlines? As renders go, the biggest challenge in modernising older cars is the bumper cutline that make up part of the car's intrinsic characteristics of the older design, but in modern cars, the bumper cutlines are either blend into the taillight housing and the cutlines moves to the side and comes down to the rear wheel arches. I like to see how the rendered (or designer) thought process on how to productionise the render. Just like how Theophilus Chin does with his renders, he will consider productionisation of the car that he renders to make it realistic :) Thanks for your work and great channel!

If I may suggest something, you should do this modernizing series by starting with a current rs4 per example, and then make it smaller and change the proportions/design cues to be more like a modern day rs2. The way you do those series, starting with the old car, the end result always turns out like if someone with a bad taste just tuned a stock legendary car to have LED lights and 2020 bumper. Keep it up with the good content man.

The current range from Audi are genuinely good looking things, especially in the right colours. Very aggressive and muscle-bound. This design though, even with the upright glasshouse and higher, flatter roof, looks the bloody goods too. I think this would look great in with their current range, especially with the newer rim choices they are running. Very good work indeed mate

awesome redesign. the lights being the largest obvious change are incorporated nicely into the original flavor of the big boxxy light bar, while being recognizable modern audi. the small changes to the diffuser, exhaust, wheels and everything else, just tie the modern design together while still being an RS2

Cool fact is that 2 weeks after this episode Doug DeMuro did a video showing his 1/1 model he had recently bought and in the same day Hot Wheels previewed their prototype for the same car. It was a RS2 month for sure.

I'd like to see an rs2 with a bit of 997 gt3 in it. Center exit exhaust, gt3 wheels(center lock), and maybe some other Porsche touches. I think keeping those Porsches cues is really important for the rs2.

I am genuinely shocked that no one, absolutely no one is talking about the fact that since the new C8 Corvette is mid engine we could have awesome potential for an amazing Cadillac Cien concept originally from 2002. Imagine this concept car with Cadillac's current design language. Think CT5-V but way more pissed off looking. Remember Cadillac has actually robbed the Corvette for a Cadillac branded version before. It was called the XLR based off the C6. So all of this is with in reason. This is what I think about when I wake up and can't get back to sleep. Side note: the Cadillac Cien was one of the first cars in my youth that genuinely made me fall in love with the styling of cars, come to later in life find out that apparently a distant relative is actually the designer of that exact concept. Can you PLEASE look into designing the new C8 into a Cadillac version hardening back to the Cien

Great uberwagon . I loved that blue color , fantastic wheels from Porsche . I think the engine itself was made by Porsche for Audi wasn't it ? An absolute wagon legend !

The engine itself and suspension was built by audi and tuned and reworked by porsche... and yes indeed the wheels are porsche 964/993 cup wheels, the rearview mirrors are 993 mirrors, the brakes are 993 brembos, and the lights in the frontbumper are also porsche 993 units 🙂 Grtzz

Just a few notes - transitions were a bit fast to follow. Might be a good idea to make them a bit slower. Also the first wheels matched the car better imho. Otherwise, lets hope Audi will make it a prototype at least!

Here in Brazil, in my hometown, just around the block from where i live, there’s a full original and stock blue RS2 that is displayed outside of luxury car mechanic shop. It’s worth more than 250.000 R$ (you can buy a brand new CLA 2021 with this money here, or a small apartment) People pass by it and thinks it’s just another weird wagon from the 90s And i just want to go full on Gymkhana with this baby... but all they do is preserve the car... ok too
