2000 Toyota MR2 redesign - Is THIS IT?

No. Elise is exotic level maintance and cost. MR2 is meant to be budget car, comparable to brz/mx5.

Literally the only thing that might be anywhere near expensive could the suspension components, as they're build specifically for Lotuses, but overall the current Lotuses are one of the best cars on the market. Both when it comes to fun and relatability. They have either the Toyota Corolla 4 pot or the Camry V6. Both are famous for their longevity

Great work! As an engineer, I'd move the fuel cap to above the wheel. As a designer I'd like the crease ending in the top of the headlight to continue a little bit into the glass.

The Simplicity Of The Nissan 350Z Was The Reason Why I Really Felt Love With That Car, My Favourite Simplistic Part Was, " The Front Air Intake." Simple, Beautiful, But Effective At The Same Time. I really miss the MR2 as well as the Celica . Toyota made such fun cars back in the day. The original MR2 was inspired by the Fiat X19 . The X19 and the MR2 was fabulous cars to drive .

I watched the video again and enjoyed your vision just as much for the second time. You should consider pulling some molds off your designs and sell body kits. I've priced some at 18k on the high side and as little as 2k on the low side. Granted the kit for 18k is absolutely beautiful but 18k is just too expensive. Anyway, your design skills are impressive, keep up the good work.

Looks great! I've always loved the MR2 Spyder. And yes, Toyota needs to bring back it back. They'd probably go hybrid or full electric though, even though the Yaris GR engine into this lightweight body would make a super enjoyable package.

Hi all, In case of crash against pedestrian and repair cost, a front hood that goes so low doesn't exist anymore. If new MR2 Spyder there is, it will be higher car. Only Mazda with the ND MX5 keeped a small/low car as his predecessor. I think that redesigning the MR2 Spyder requiert to see one in real life to really see the dynamic design. In real, the entire car is very flat (like Lotus Exige S2 but longer). Even if I have one for 5 years until now, I am still amased how the light goes around the Spyder's body shape. The Lotus is a short car, so to me it's not that agressive in dynamic, like a toy. The MR2 Spyder is really a beautifull car in dynamic.
