Every FREE Skylanders Promotion

The Ninjini Toys R Us Times Square event was definitely an official promotion. I was one of those in line to get one of the 300 free early pre-release figures on Feb 5, 2013. I worked around the corner and popped over around 4pm. Activation gave out white wristbands to the first ones to arrive to ensure everything was orderly. I showed up less than an hour before the release (4:30pm) and was surprised how short the line was. There was definitely nothing different about this figure from the eventual release. Just that you got it earlier than everyone else

Some others not mentioned here: Before the release of Spyro’s Adventure there were the starter trio given out to managers who attended a GameStop Manager’s conference in 2011 (I will be putting out a more in-depth video on these figures soon) The Dark Spyro Single Pack was also available to attendees at Skylanders’ Arena Tour Event. Blue Metallic Chop Chop was also available through a social media giveaway bronze Hot Dog was also available at Gamescom 2013, and an event held by LG to promote the release of Skylanders: Battlegrounds on the LG Smart TVs

I know Activition gave away a few convention exclusives through social media posts (like Chrome Spyro and Love Bug) but I only included the promotions with a larger prize pool. Still interesting to know the others you mentioned though, thanks bro 😎

Hey, random question, what king of super glue do you use for your customs? Every glue I’ve used makes my Skylanders brittle

I use loctite super glue gel. For small pieces it’s better to stick in some sort of wire or armature in each side to keep them from becoming brittle.
