Lovely journey from start to finish, I’m with Mr Slaw on the wobbly bridge issue, even worse when it’s busy😱. I love the Alps, such stunning scenery. I thought Mr Slaw was in for a slap watching Mrs Slaw mop up his accident !

Thanks for taking us with you. We visited that castle over 40 years ago. However it was foggy and we had no idea that there were such amazing views! We used a small tent in those days, now a Mercedes Marco Polo campervan towing a caravan, the best of both worlds.

Been there many times and never tire off the area people and scenery, the whole area was used to film the Great Escape !.
@christinemckay59492 жыл бұрын
When we went through there on a coach trip we had our photo took under the bike from the great escape but I wish I could remember where it was, have you any idea? I think it might have been on the border, we were just in the Alps I think, there was a beautiful view of a lake in the mountains. 🤔
@49googie2 жыл бұрын
@@christinemckay5949 Not sure of exact location , if you type into KZbin film locations Great Escape there are guys who have vlogs done about it. I travel by Motorbike and BMW have a rally there with about 50 k bikes and people.

Loved this guys. Watched it on the tv the other night and forgot to pop a comment on. We love fussen and Schwangau, so this was right up our street. We’ve enjoyed the castle tours on the past and love walking around the Alpsee lake. You had some lovely park ups and sites in this video. Looking forward to seeing your route back. Cheers or Prost 🍻

Nice that even in Germany its dinner and tea. Our fly killer looks like a pump action shotgun, you fill it with salt, it has a laser sight, line up the fly and BANG. Its called bug a salt, hours of fun.
@TheSlawsAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Ha ha! Slaw has a Bug-a-salt too, but Mrs Slaw won’t allow it in Helga because of the deposits 🤣

Hi do the dogs take turns by the window and how long did it take to walk to the castle from the carpark thanks
@TheSlawsAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Hi David, no, Jessie likes looking out and Billy hunkers down. It took about 45 minutes in a leisurely stroll from the car park to the castle.

Good afternoon!!!! Weve watched all of your vlogs and will be travelling to germany this year in our self build...kids and labrador in tow!!! From gods own country..Yorkshire and just wanted to know how easy it is to use the bord atlas???? Im a little worried about translating it...any help would be great thank you caroline x
@TheSlawsAdventures Жыл бұрын
Good afternoon Caroline! Thanks very much for watching. How exciting! A road trip to Germany. You’ll have a great time. I spent an hour or so using Google translate and working out the basic words in the Bord Atlas descriptions of the stellplatz. You can then work it out more or less. You’ll soon be experts with strom, trinkenwasser, abfall etc
