Recorded in 2006 at the Casino-Rama outside of Toronto, this live show features classic bits and songs (complete with comedic interruptions) as only the Smothers Brothers are able to perform. The Smothers Brothers
The Smothers Brothers, Tom and Dick, are one of the most iconic comedy duos in the history of television. Tom and Dick began performing as a duo in the late 1950s, playing in coffeehouses and clubs in San Francisco. Their act consisted of music, comedy, and witty banter, which quickly gained them a following.

When I was younger it was mostly about the humor of the Smother Brothers and the political humor and stance on politics and being of age in the Vietnam Draft (1972) but how much more now that I appreciate their beautiful harmonious voices, it would be nice to see some shows with just the musical numbers, Thanks for this show, nice to have a new/old show from the Smothers Brothers.

Those clips brought me back to 7th grade when I was becoming aware of the political scene and the war in Nam. Because of people like the Smother's Bros and their guests, I had a lot of hope for the future. I just hope my grandchildren will still have a reason to hope. And I'm sorry our dreams were so badly crushed. We should have communicated better and worked harder. But, we still have the videos of the brothers and they brought us much joy.

Saw the brothers Smothers at Niagara Fallsview around the same time I'd read the "Smothered" book. It made their performance that much more special for me. Not only were they hilarious, clips of Pat Paulsen and Bob Einstein had me rolling. R.I.P. Tommy, Pat, and Bob Love to Dickie and Smothers families!

I agree with you! I'm still humming that song as I wash the dishes and then move about my home doing little "catch ups." I even sing "fake Spanish words" to the melody just to give the song a bit more substance, just like Tommy did.
