Fun fact, Espionage ideas have a policy that gives Cav Combat Ability with both Aristocratic and Horde ideas. So if you are ever in a position where you can take both of them (like this game) grab Espionage in between to make your horses miniature tanks.

Yeah King of Kings added a pretty massive MT shared by all Arabian minors (so Najd, Hejaz, Medinah, Dawasir, etc.) that goes into forming Arabia. And yeah I was pretty pissed off that Persia was updated in that DLC but not the country that has most of Persia at the start

I'm like 80% sure you can full annex ajam and thus inherit their vassals meaning no second war, ofc that doesnt really matter since they become a rump state but just something to note

i can confirm. you need 100% warscore and you can full annex ajam and get their 2 vassals. but it will make it harder to diplo annex all vassals you have now because you will get two more disloyal subjects. you would need to get even more land to make them somewhat loyal. like instantly after full annexing ajam you full annex baluchistan as well and start expanding into india. as fast as possible.

4:24 a very useful tip us that you can hover over the diplo mana counter at the top of the screen. in the UI you can see all of you diplo relations, including your RMs.

The Ajam Rebellion event actually DoWs Ajam regardless of truce if you’re not at war. So you can DoW dec11 and then when event fires you full annex - if you’re not at war when it fires.

Did that run and the hardest challenge is just getting Jewish provinces before they're converted. Mughals into EoC gives you crazy CCR and Gov Cap, as well as permaclaims on most of SE Asia and India and some awesome monuments. I quit the run when I finally moved my capital to the new world and found out I still couldn't accept new world cultures. So disappointing.

@@tristanridley1601 Did you start as Ethiopia? As far as I know (I think from a Laith video?) the only way to keep the Jewish provinces around is if you start as Ethiopia and pick the option in the event that doesn't convert them. AI Ethiopia never picks that option, so in a regular playthrough you'd never see that religion. Ethiopia into flip Sunni, form Mughals, flip Confucian, take Mandate, do a WC sounds like a really fun and wacky campaign ngl

@@TheFraps1 Start Timurids. Consolidate power. Rush conquests of a few Arabian ports. (You don't have coring range to skip very far.) Conquer and core a port province bordering Ethiopia. Conquer a Jewish province from them. There should be one left if you prioritized this route enough. They generally convert one at a time. The coring range issue was the biggest frustration. It also sets your expansion in India back, but as you see from this video the Timurid start is OP enough it's fine.

I did that! I also had the mandate of heaven! Started as Uzbek, Formed Mughals, conquered most of Tibet in order to be able to become animist I believe, so I could claim the mantle of heaven as Mughals. Switched to Confucian and started conquering the world as the most tolerant Empire in EU4 ever. Every religion and culture fully accepted, 0 seperatism, almost the whole world was given statehood as well, rather than being territories.

Laith, you should let your vassals send you royal marriage requests that way when shah rukh dies the royal marriages do not disappear (all marriages you send expire on ruler death).

funfact: Gürkani means "Groom". Back in the day in order to declare yourself as "Sultan" you need to be a decendant of Genghis Khan. Which Timur lacked that. He married a decendant of Genghis and Declared himself as Amir(Steward) and Gürkan(Groom) of Genghis to seek legitimacy.

Hey Laith, I have a question for ya. Will you play Age of History 3 when that comes out? Just so you are aware it’s way more in depth then AOH2, like, EU4 levels of depth, and you can do silly things like have WW2 soldiers in the year 1440.

I hope they dont nerf the mission tree bonuses, because being able to defeat everyone just by using horses is great. Remember people, what would Timur do? ajam provinces are timurid cores as well. so it was reconquest war for the first war he did. meaning aggressive expansion was close to 0

^ Chagatai wasn't unified in 1444, with the eastern part being unfairly labeled as Chagatai despite there being other claimants (including the Dughlats of Yarkand). Moghulistan has a mission to become Chagatai in WoC.
