also there is some info that i like to share -Tabriz was the state that Mohammad shah started to conquer and reclaim iran. so basically it's at the early of "Qajar" that's also the reason why we have claim on Armenia and Azerbaijan (if you go in war with russia, we have a "return state" on Armenia and Azerbayjan". - also that's why Tabriz is more populated. it was the first capital and at the start of Qajar it moved to Irakajemi (Irak +Ajemi - two current province in iran). - About Omani Laristan: That's the state leased to the Sultan of Oman by 1791 and released by early 19's. - Yes, historically Persia was a bit backward in technology cause of Mongol invasios early 13's and they burned a lot of books and slayed many childrens (Timurid dynasty). thanks again. Welcome guys to the fifth day of historic facts for Laith. Like I said Yi-sun-sin is the topic today and I wrote alot this time. Yi-Sun-sin: was a Korean admiral and military general famed for his victories against the Japanese navy during the Imjin war (Japanese Invasion of Korea) during the Joseon Dynasty. Yi is regarded as one of the greatest naval commanders in history, with commentators praising his strategic vision, intelligence, innovations, and personality. Yi is celebrated as a national hero in Korea, with multiple landmarks, awards and towns named after him. His personal diaries, Nanjung Ilgi, covering a seven year period, are listed as part of the UNESCO world heritage. His family was part of the Korean Deoksu Yi clan. Yi sun-sin and Yi Sun-sin's father Yi Jeong was likewise disillusioned with politics and did not enter government service as expected of a yangban (noble) family. As a young boy, Yi played war games with other local boys, showing excellent leadership talent at an early age and constructed his own bow and fletched his own arrows as a teenager. In 1576 Yi-sun-sin managed to pass his military examinations, but failed a test because he broke his leg when he was tested in cavalry. In 1592-1598 he fought in the Imjin War and there were numerous reasons why Yi was so successful against the Japanese fleets. He had prepared for the war by checking the status of his soldiers, granaries, and supplies, replacing them when it was necessary. As part of this preparation, the turtle ship was ressurected and built, which was a considerable factor in his victories. He also had a great deal of information about the southern Korean coast and he planned his battles using the sea tides and narrow straits to his advantage. Yi was a charismatic leader, and was able to maintain his soldiers' morale despite constantly being low on supplies and food, and continuous news of countless Korean losses in ground battles. In some records, it is stated that he went as far as to personally fulfill some of his soldiers' dying wishes. He demonstrated his loyalty to the people by treating them with respect and fighting amongst them even when endangered. In 1596 he was victim of a plot and was imprisoned and tortured by his own people. He was also demoted to an infantry soldier which was a huge humiliation for a general. He got reinstated when General Won Gyun got ambushed by the Japanese fleet and killed in action by a fort. At this point they had no other choice. Afterwards over the course of his career, Admiral Yi fought in at least 23 recorded naval engagements, all against the Japanese. In most of these battles, he was outnumbered and lacked necessary supplies. He nonetheless won battle after battle. His most famous victory occurred at the Battle of Myeongnyang, where despite being outnumbered 333 to 13, he managed to disable or destroy 31 Japanese warships without losing a single ship of his own. Yi died from a gunshot wound at the Battle of Noryang on 16 December 1598, the closing battle of the Imjin War. Bonus: The Joseon panokseon (main battleships of Korea) were structurally stronger than Japanese ships at the time they also had stronger hulls and could carry at least 20 cannons, compared to the Japanese 4. Japanese ship-mounted cannons were inferior to the Koreans' in both range and power. The Japanese navy's strongest tactic was to board enemy ships and engage in hand-to-hand combat. I knew it, the reason Persian Empire declined was cause they don't have the Laith. And that's the correct first move btw, having the Laith makes your economy go boom vs AIs. But in multiplayer you will be betrayed so dont do it

I am playing Persia right now. What I did was get into a customs union with Britain straight away and just built up my economy, whilst also conquering modern-day Pakistan. I then continued to build up relations with Britain until I made an alliance with them. Now I am poised to fight a Force Recognition war against Russia, who's allied to France and I am rank 13 on the world stage with the second strongest GDP in the Middle East with only China and the Ottoman Empire have a slightly better GDP than me. I am playing tall as well with Pakistan being my only territorial aspirations. Russia also made Afghanistan into a puppet state as the Afghans joined me in my wars of conquest against the Sikh's. I managed to defend against Russia long enough to subjugate the Sikh's, however, Afghanistan surrendered early to Russia before I could win the war.

It is day 117 since I asked you to do the challenge with Croatia in VIC 3 but in one of the videos, a good person named Andraip (Thanks for all the help) said it has a few flaws so it's time to correct them. So when you start playing as Croatia you have 15 years to get your independence, after that you cannot ally, get in a defensive pact, and you cannot be under any kind of protection and you must rival these powers as soon as possible: Austria, Russia, Serbia, Montenegro, Ottomans, and all nations from the Italian boot. You also must embargo all those nations and cannot enter their custom union nor can they enter yours. You cannot be in an alliance with any of the top 10 nations, including a defensive pact custom union, or protectorate, but you can trade with them. AI must be put on the default settings in case it isn't. If you ally let's say Portugal, and later on they get into the top 10, you must break the alliance. You also must stay monarchy all the time. Form the Danubian state with Croatia following these rules. (FYI incase I didn't make it more specific, you cannot join anybody's custom union you must always at all times have your own market)
