I'm assuming that the reason there is a nudity toggle is an error and future proofing measure. The models of Vic3 use the same fundamental body model that CK3 characters use, which is a model that includes nudity. If there was ever an error loading clothes, or if they ever think nudity will work in the game, the game could show a nude model. So there's a toggle for it.

Acholi is an interesting country. Consider them you ever wanna play in Africa again. They're unique because they have multiple primary cultures whose homelands cover pretty much the entirety of East Africa. Since malaria doesn't affect countries in their homelands, they get a big head start on colonizing. My advice is to mass barracks initially, unite Uganda, rush Colonization, grab Kenya, and then take Zanzibar and Ethiopia.

I tried that, actually.... France colonized super fast still despite all my efforts. I do wish an African nation trying to unite other Africans worked a little better in the game. I was saying "Guys! I'm trying to save you from the colonial powers! Why won't you join me faster?" They never rose up against me to give me the colonization boost, or in the earlier patch, the territory entirely. But the rose against France often.

About the nudity: some cultures like the Amazons dont wear clothes if theyre lower strata. They just wear leaves like in ck3.

I think either Madagascar or one of the pacific islands (if they’re even playable, if not there are probably mods that can change that) would make for very interesting campaigns, being islands and all. Loving the content!

Madagascar basically starts with no tech at all and are isolationist, its a really slow game. Hawaii can boom once you get some population coming in since it starts with multiculturalism, thats probably the best choice of the small islands.

34:30 If you have a very limited number of interests to declare, a really good one if you need/want to interact with a lot of Europeans is the Rhine. Britain, France, Russia, Prussia, France, Austria, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, and often the US will pretty quickly have an interest in the Rhine if they don't immediately have one, and it's very, very rare for the AI to revoke an interest from the Rhine once they have one there.
