According to the safety section of the paperwork in the box, the heel design is made to help you get the shoe off with the other foot if the battery died and you can't loosen it manually.

I just grabbed two pairs of these and the infrareds at a fire deal! 🔥 just fell in love with the tech and the shoe design, its different in a good way not overdone at all, plus its as light as my nike running shoes you guys should buy 🔥🔥

The bulge at the hell is for shock absorption. It absorbs much of the impact from the rest to help preserve the tech inside. It also acts as a channel for bottom impacts for the energy to release through the extended hell area. The same goes for the divot (arch) underneath. It's a way for energy to escape without being completely absorbed into the leave tech. The square shapes having 4 angles asking with the grid pattern channels also serve the same purpose. Angles hello energy escape. Think of putting aluminum foil in a microwave. It doesn't spark just because of the material. It sparks because of angles within the material. That spark is energy releasing. You can Google this.

the app doesn't maintain a constant connection with the shoes causing connectivity issues. sound is quite loud in a quiet environment. using the lights on pulse mode will significantly increase battery consumption to deplete the battery in half a day

Nike lunar epic lows are the best shoes from nike in my opinion. Light weight ,flyknit and very durable. Very good for walking around all day feet never hurt.

The Zoom Pegasus 37 is more comfortable in my opinion. I have both and the Zoom feels a lot better than the infinity react to me. The Pegasus is also better for running as well.
