My son has had every pair of Kyrie shoe, but won’t even consider these. Too many of these kids are logo snobs. The quality of Nike shoes has regressed so much over the years. I’m sure if these had a swoosh, he’d be all over them. These are good looking shoes and I’m sure they’re high quality.

Definitely correct about quality. All of my Kyries (3s, 4s and Infinity) have had the outsole come apart near the front. Mind you, I wore them/wear them daily (I wear them as my every day shoe). When his actual personal pair drops for Anta, if it looks good I will be getting them, and would love to see the comparison as far as quality.

Im gonna assume he's in his teens, he's probably worried he might get clowned by his friends if he rocked these. Maybe that's not the case and he genuinely doesn't like them. But when I was that age, I cared more about what other people think of me than what I actually like. These are great shoes, and not crazy expensive either.

The version Kyrie wears just has the nub/triangle traction pattern everywhere instead of the wavy pattern on the fore-foot.

I have the same ones from the video, after getting some Chinese shoe brand I have started going up .5 size only bad part is I wear a 12 and anta only seems to go up to 12. They fit like a glove and would love a little more room in them.

@@westysha4756from my experience bro, translucent soles perform better than regular soles on dusty court, I have been playing in my Doernbecher kyrie 2 for years (time for a fresh pair) and I have a the blue and orange pair of Kyrie s1 hybrid. When I am playing on a good court, I pretty much just pick whichever one I feel like playing in, but for dusty courts, the Doernbercher kyrie 2s are my ONLY and BEST choice.
