joel makes a good point with the idea of locking inventory slots from being able to be auto sorted. in terraria, you can alt + click an item to 'favorite' it, which prevents it from being thrown away, dropped, dumped into chests, or sorted. i think minecraft would benefit greatly with a sorting/favorites system like that

For the inventory solution, you have the ability to click on a slot to lock it. Then a padlock icon shows up Then you have a quick sort button to move anything that wasn't lock.

You make a good point with the freezing of crops to stop plant growth. You are correct that most players are looking to just survive or growing crops for food for either themselves or their animals. I would probably look at that mechanic as a late or endgame mechanic like the elytra or shulker or ender chests. Some things just aren't meant for beginning or mid game mechanics.

You *can* actually copy and paste the code, but I only know tihs because I was stubborn. At first Twitch makes the entire message a link, and itʼs hard to copy and paste links. But eventually (after I clicked it?) it came regular non-link text.

My issue with the new piston sound is that it sounds like someone is nervously spamming a pen button, or a clock ticking with more pistons. So sure they made it quieter, but the high pitch repetitive clicking is so annoying. On the plus side it has the clockwork, steam-punk vibe so it could be used in some builds as sound effect.
