That moment you know is real. My boyfriend asked me to be his woman and that never happened to me before. Such a great feeling 🥰

I like that you went deeper with commitment and exclusive. There was alot of word play going on. No woman should be going through a “process “ or trial after 2,3,5 years. If you’re intentional dating for marriage it doesn’t take that long. I like when you mentioned acting like a girlfriend vs commitment. Women are living with these men, cooking, having sex, combining lifestyles, cleaning, investing finances business wise, they’re exceptional women, and 3,4 years later no marriage. To grown women marriage is commitment.. Otherwise you’re still dating or in their “process”… also known as placeholder. 3 to 6 months is not the issue, it’s the 2-3 years and you’re still not even engraved

Much respect to Duke for stepping up and admitting those vulnerabilities. And to Mari for respectfully standing on her question and helping them to open up! It’s not easy or common for Alpha males to admit any level of inadequacies - but doing so results in deeper levels of respect from your audience and those that are looking up to you 🙌

Compromise is such a big deal because not only are you aware of how you feel & move but considering how the person you care about feels & still making a conscious effort to gauge and understand.

I like these guys because they are not simps. But they are honest, healthy, and back what they say through example. Women want dudes like this and they exist. But women think these guys are the simp type and men think you can’t be a real one and healthy at the same time. Excellent example all around.

I really love the part where y'all discussed the development of the relationship. Growing together, having an understanding that it two people working to overcome their egos for the betterment of the relationship and how Mari, reiterated to the ladies that you give "a little" & then he reciprocates. No reciprocity is not a good thing... And that where you start in relationship is not where you finish because it's a growth process that you both want.

I think a lot of people are so fixated on themselves that they lack everything else. Even in moments of discomfort like Duke said you should know how you operate & aligning with things that work with you.

I disagree with her on her definition of “exclusive”. That’s why it’s important to speak to one another about what these definitions mean to us as individuals instead of assuming that you agree.

I appreciate their perspective, but do think you should have voiced more how us women perceive intentional dating. It seems These men were “dating” these women with no real goal/intentions, but fail to realize from our perspective we do not want to waste our time. Seems like they were dating their now wives for a period of time with no definite intentions and the girls just waited on them to choose them🤷🏻♀️ and that is fine, but men need to be able to lead with a purpose not lead women on, I think you could have confronted them about their discrepancies better, respectfully. 😅

They’re saying it’s a two-way street. Women are not perfect and neither are the men. The communication you want to receive is what you need to give. Women are terrible at relationships but accept no accountability for their failures
@seagirlaquarius Жыл бұрын
@@carl3063 i appreciate your feedback, but if you re-read the first sentence I only wish she would have communicated more efficiently our frustration during the dating stage. There are many women and men that can’t communicate effectively, but the man is usually the one who decides when/if to make a relationship official. Both parties need to stop wasting each others time, if they are not pursuing the same end goal.
@carl3063 Жыл бұрын
@@seagirlaquarius They explained it clearly though. Part of poor communication is that women don’t like to listen. They said that the women set their standard from the jump and through dating there was a back and forth where they built it together. If you think a real dude who is perfect is gonna just fold for your pretty smile and instantly propose, then you living in a fairytale world

But how do women know an intentional man?
@Kenshaable Жыл бұрын
Still looking for the answer
@tarynstewart8279 Жыл бұрын
Great question! I think you will know intention when it shows up in your life. However, after getting a dating coach, I learned to measure intention by men showing up as consistent in character versus consistent in the quantity of our interactions. In other words, I learned to watch their behavior versus their words and to hold them accountable for what they said or promised. I also learned to observe how curious they were about me as a woman versus just spending time with me, only talking about themselves the whole time, or what they feel they can get something from me. And finally, asking myself if we are increasing in emotional intimacy and asking myself “do I know more about this person or do they know more about me than when we met?”
@LV2308gmail9 ай бұрын
Yes I think this needs to be explored, bx men who know what they want will approach a woman with intentions, vs showing up as a casual thing and it evolves into something more if the man feels threatened if presented with her absence.
