This game was my entire childhood right there. I went through the game dozens of times then had fun with cheat engine to mess with the game and now I'm doing a nostalgic run of the game, though I might try this exploit on a separate copy just to see how it goes.

i remember getting hundreds of levels into endless mode by using the poison mushrooms that deal penetration damage, effectively making the increasingly difficult waves meaningless because all enemies on screen would take damage simultaneously ragardless of how many there were.

That's a pretty good achievement, even as an adult I struggle to keep a perfect record on the roof levels
@MrGhosta52 жыл бұрын
The roof can be really difficult because of all the different zombie types you need to be able to deal with, you have limited space and the roof is slanted so only certain plants can attack the zombies.

I played this game in secondary school, the pain of never being able to take your save files between computer meant that we always exploited the heck out of it, I remember the fun of discovering a new exploit and being smug while you spread it around, only for someone to take what you found and build on it to make some very stupid combos

PvZ was literally my entire childhood. I made an entire clay model set of every single plants in the game when I was 12 and only my parents know that since I didn't wanted to risk them getting messed up by my friends at school. Little did I know that my mom thought I used sculpt clay and put them all in an oven. That's one thing I'll never forgive her for.

Here’s a fact, you should plant potato mines 3-4 spaces away from a normal zombie (bucket or cone works too) as that’s how long it takes for it to get ready.

It's a shame there was never a Tea Plant in this game. If there was I think I know exactly what it would do. It would be a support plant. Let me explain. The Tea Plant would heal adjacent plants over time and, while being healed, they would increase their shooting speed by 50 percent. However, Chompers would increase how fast they digest a zombie by 50 percent. This would mean you could place down a Tea Plant, that could be called, Healing Tea, to increase how many strategies a player can implement. Let tea drinkers have Healing Tea in Plants vs Zombies! There's a coffee bean so let us have tea!
