This game will be a good game when it finally releases. I played the version on patreon today and ended up getting an insane mage build where I could cast my attack wand about 30 times in one turn. That was until I blindly started hitting an enemy with thorns without paying attention and committing die.

I had a heavy sword with a damage bonus for the spaces below it lodged in a hole at the top of my bag that I kept the whole game until I finally was forced to upgrade the last slot and the sword fell, ruining my build in the process. :'(

I always find myself using multi hit builds whether it’s cleavers, hatchets, or shield spirt and immediately getting decimated by a guy with thorns after clicking attack once and hitting him 15 times

The wand build is OP. There's one book that I think is like the Warrior's Tome or something where you spend 2 energy to get 4 recharged mana PLUS surrounding weapons gets +2 attack this combat. So you can start dishing out some serious damage for longer combats. Combined with some good armor, the thorny guys don't pack as much of a punch.

Had a longbow on the .io where I was doing 80 poison a shot, 34 to all, and 170 single target per shot with vamprysm....died because I stupidly used my matchette which I usually used at the start of each round on a tonne of thorns...no armour 55 health...I was overkilled by alot...

If you actually watch when he uses it, it doesn’t make a difference, he had 0 mana, used it twice, then ring of doomed 4 times, so it did add 4 mana even though there was only 3 mana next to it

They are so amazingly busted, probably could have done an endless endless run, but I picked up a relic that takes 1 off damage permanently on used weapons and messed it up.

Best/eaist exploit I have found is the fact shives use no energy but do very little damage.... however there are LOTS of stuff that buff weapon damage.

On my second playthrough, I had an OP whetstone shiv machete build with ninja outfit. I could dodge the first hit, and every turn my 5 shivs and 3 machetes gained 9-12 damage per turn, and more from the bramble stick. The final boss didn't even touch me. I had to use MATH to not take damage from some encounters, I had to use my weapons in a very specific order sometimes. I made it to NG+, where I died in 2-2, because I didn't have a key to go to the swamp, and multihit enemies in the dark caves rekt me.

An exploit for you, because unfortunately I missed a lot of the stream: - Funny shield relic lets you 'use' items adjacent to shields when you use them, but at -1 damage penalty per use - Poison arrows count as a 'use' item - Poison damage is a status, and is calculated separate from base damage - Funny shield relic *does not reduce status damage??* So you can just spend your turn spamming shield and inflicting 3x8 poison with the right setup, nevermind other statuses

Spiff finding ways to cheese the way to the golden cheese. Probably one of the most viable for endless too. I tried it, finished after getting the spear that starts with 1 damage but gets +14 every turn combined with the dumbell. I think it could have eventually one shot the king from full if I'd turtled long enough

A few tips here Spiff 1. Mana can stack nearly infinite so build up a stockpile with Necronomicon, 2. Broken ear ring gives you 4 free block added to armor and turn used shield.

I like how 1 empty mug would have one shotted the final boss because it's initial damage before ALL buffs was 1 damage higher than the ethereal shivs, thus giving him 2 more ring of doom activations and therefore even more damage. All from an empty cup of delicious Yorkshire tea.

This game has so much potential for breaks. Especially with the robot character. It's surprisingly easy to attack several time more than intended each turn. For example, I managed to get a setup that would do over 10,000 damage to all enemies each turn with about 80 attacks total. I still have no idea what it's limit is, I've done multiple loops and I'm on floor 40 and still killing all enemies each fight in a single turn.
