Just a note: Vexing Devil is not a target. It is "any opponent", and so resolves in that each opponent in turn order must choose whether or not to pay 4 life. So Aaron and Madison should have had the chance to pay after Ben declined.

I have seen this Saskia deck several times now and I really really like it. It's just so toolboxy, while truly sticking to the theme!! It plays a lot of the creatures that I play in my shadowfax deck. Those 3/4 goodstuff creatures. I also like to play the 3 ball creatures in a deck. (Ball of Lightning, Lightning Scelemental and Groundbreaker) and the other 6/1 hasty tramplers. Really really delightful to watch. I am pretty sure that I will build my own version based on yours soon. Also I love the number 7.

I didn't realize that the Abberation didn't count as milling until TikTok told me - that's embarrassing. Also cut Intruder Alarm because it was a little too powerful for my other playgroup at the time but it's definitely insane.

Why does Bill proceed to continue to take damage from trespasser's curse after he plays Protector of the Crown? He could have just triggered pair four times after the protector came down and taken no damage from the curse.

Trespasser's Curse is specifically "Lose 1 Life", where Protector of the Crown prevents damage. Now, verbally the two do get used interchangeably often, rules-wise, damage causes loss of life, but loss of life itself isn't damage.
