Really enjoyed this. Erin was my hero when I used to do triathlon in ChCh in the 80s. I loved that you could sometimes come across such a legend by chance when training. Once I actually passed her going up a hill in a short-course in Lyttelton (she must have been having technical issues with her bike). It was a nice day, and so I said something "nice day". Later, on another hill, she of course passed me and she looked over, really mad, and said in a snarky voice "nice day", and then took off like a rocket. :-) So my biggest claim to sporting fame was getting my arse handed to me by Erin Baker. lol
