HOW TO SUPER CLEAN MOTORCYCLE CARBURETOR FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE, MILEAGE AND COLD STARTING PROBLEM

Carburetor can be a reason behind poor pick up, acceleration, Fuel leak and low fuel efficiency. This carburetor cleaning process is applicable to most of the Hero, Honda, Bajaj, TVS, Suzuki motorcycles with CV type carburetors. In this video we disassemble the carburetor and clean it throughly including the jets, slide, float chamber, diaphragm, throttle valve etc. We have tried to include all the steps for carburetor cleaning which should make the job easy for the riders.

I do have heavy duty gloves but the problem is most of the times I have to handle the camera and frequently taking off and on the rubber gloves is not easy (read time consuming) hence I use these disposable gloves, I hope I was able to explain my situation. Thanks a lot for valuing the video 😊

While overflowing, I changed the needle and float from a authorised TVS service centre for my tvs jive. But the next day, it still same. Over flowing for long term and short term then stop automatically, and start between 3 to 5 days. Not overflowing continous. What to do....is that mandatory to change carburator...? Pls reply...🤔

Hi Tanmay, As it is a new motorcycle I would suggest you to get it checked from authorized service. As per your observations I think it's the float pin or might be the drain screw.

Hey, can you tell what is the function of breather hose. The one on mine (200 4v) is broken. Mechanic at workshop says it doesn't really serve a function but i belive if it was useless it wouldn't be there. Manufacturer ensure removing anything which is not needed .

Hi Sportstourer, As you have used Apache RTR 200 4v quite a lot, I have a query regarding its tyre. Can a 140mm tyre be fit on rear as the stock Remora is of 130mm? Will increasing tyre size requires removing chain cover and tyre hugger in Apache? Thanks
