Great video...thx. one observation: don't assume both sidewalls of the ski are finished equal distance from the centerline of the ski. The closest reference is the actual side of the edge.

Good point! Most of our mounts are indeed measured from the base edge. We pull sidewalls with each and every tune prior to mounts, after which the reference point would be the edge.

We use Titebond III, a waterproof wood glue.

Yup. Back in the day a cough cough “patio” store mounted one ski 5mm different. They said “you won’t notice that”.

Hmmm, we agree that MOST techs don't do this on a daily basis. Too many techs are also not actually certified yearly to do mounts... 🤔
