If you watched the Clone Wars cartoons, during the siege of Mon Cala, Fisto and Anakin became close. He’s one of the few masters, always being nice and smiling, like Yoda and Shak Ti, that he felt comfortable around. That’s why this one was so believable and accurate. Well done, brother.

I think another interesting alternative would have been if the focus had been on Shaak Ti, she was the Jedi in charge of the temple after Windu left, the one who confronted Anakin when he was leaving the temple. What is she had acted differently, what if she had stayed with Anakin in the council chambers and alleviated his fears. What if she had not allowed him to leave at the temple gate. Would there have been a fight between the two? If there had other Jedi would likely have gotten involved and Anakin hadn’t fully turned at that point, at the very least he likely would not have gotten to Palpatine’s office in time to save him. Or what if Shaak Ti had sensed his resolve and accompanied him to the Senate building. Would her presence have changed things, she was compassionate and reassuring to Anakin at the gate. Would that kind of presence with Anakin as opposed to just Windu a Jedi who was openly mistrustful and at time disapproving Anakin, made a difference? An interesting possibility either way

I think Windu's biggest mistake was igniting his lightsaber and either through a meeting before arriving or by his action ordered the others to do the same was going overboard if he just wanted to arrest Palpatine. Of course, he wasn't expecting Palpatine to allow himself to be arrested, so his reasoning was to preserve himself and as many of the others alive as possible, which is why he made the order to arm themselves immediately, but it just goes to show that this decision made impossible for Palpatine to feel comfortable with the arrest offer, which made a battle inevitable. By bringing Anakin along, he could shock Palpatine sufficiently enough to not feel the need to ignite lightsabers immediately and therefore make the offer of an arrest more genuine, especially with someone caring about him right there ready to witness. So I think your scenario makes a lot of sense, mostly because Palpatine would then be the first one to ignite a lightsaber if he dared to fight them. He could have tried to pretend like he wasn't a warrior Sith but it would be a challenge blah blah blah but the biggest issue was it would be easier to take down the Jedi if he can just kill less than a handful right there, right now instead of letting them arrest him and letting them order an investigation be done against him. He could have likely hoped that Anakin would choose not to participate in the defense of the Jedi and then Anakin could have then proven him wrong.

First of all: Fisto was the only Jedi to last in a fight against Sidious, as the first two were immediately killed by Sidious before they could even swing their saber, before Sidious killed him. So it would only make sense that he would want backup as Mace would haven’t been able to kill Sidious before Anakin intervened. And second day 20 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme, Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?

Did anyone think that Palpatine may have been the direct cause of Padme's death? A force ability? Many poisons that could kill a baby don't get through the membrane of the placenta so it could have been a dart or needle, even one like the droid that tortures Leia in ANH.
