Well, here we are again. I found a great stealth camping spot with questionable legality. It was a Ducks Unlimited easement shelter for bird watching on a lonely country road. There were no signs prohibiting camping, so I figured I should camp there! Of course, there was the normal trouble, things not going to plan, snow began to fall. Overall, a very successful stealther.

Hi everyone! I was just parked under a cell tower using the last of my gigs before they reset tomorrow to get an early Thursday video up! Thanks again to all the awesome subs, folks who choose to donate, and even the trolls :) I'm just so happy to have this up and be able to share it with the world. Love from some random place in the Canadian prairies!

Dearest Steve, Our 27 year old son was a huge fan of yours. He unexpectedly passed away a week ago, but he lived for nature. His favourite was his own particular version of stealth camping in the National Forests, (California, Montana, Colorado, Texas, etc,...as well as numerous times in Canada) Sometimes that included a car, and other times it meant backpacking to the site for a more serious commune with nature. He loved it. It was where he was happiest! Thank you for helping others to dream big and realize all the beauty there is in nature. Brightest blessings to you and Jess always! 🙏❣🙏❣

Hey Steve, My brother and I sincerely want to thank you for the content you put out. You've inspired us to get back into the outdoors, taught us a thing or two about starting fires, and how to keep bears away from ones campsite, and I could keep going . One probably wouldn't think that some of those lessons are high on the priorities chart, however it's the small ones that mean even more, you take the time to explain why you do things a certain way and the pros and cons, really line it out and give a good analysis. our old man wasn't around to take us out for this kind of stuff as youngins, it was always something we wanted to do.Without going too much into detail in the comments, I really want to emphasize the amount of respect you have on your name in so many people's lives. We have a campsite reserved for a 5 day getaway at a campsite out of town this week! Cheers again Steve, hunker down !

@@matf4505 No we did not ask, it was a small wooded area by the sea at the end of their yard. It was not really clear that it was their property. Thinking about it now it was probably a zone where it was not legal for them to clear out. Edit: Note that this was 25 years ago and the attitude might have changed. But at the time my experience was that you could ask anyone west of Toronto to camp in their yard and they would have welcomed you with open arms.
